I hope Bledsoe, Terry Glenn and Terrance Newman make it.

Newman has "quitley" been out best member of the secondary.

Since Eli didn't get in, there's a strong likelihood that Drew will make it.

Four Carolina Panthers were selected to the Pro Bowl on Wednesday.

Quarterback Jake Delhomme, wide receiver Steve Smith, offensive guard Mike Wahle, and defensive end Julius Peppers were selected to the NFC squad for the All star game in Hawaii after the season.

Punter Jason Baker is a first alternate to the NFC Pro Bowl squad. Special teams player Karl Hankton, middle linebacker Dan Morgan and return man Steve Smith are second alternates. Safety Mike Minter and cornerback Ken Lucas are third alternates.

It looks like Newman didn't make it, since Ronde Barber, DeAngelo Hall and Nathan Vasher made it.

It also looks like Bledsoe didn't make it, since Matt Hasselbeck, Michael Vick and Jake Delhomme reportedly made it.

It also looks like Witten didn't make it, since Jeremy Shockey and Alge Crumpler did.

But it looks like Roy Williams probably made it, since the only other safeties I've seen reported are Darren Sharper and Mike Brown. Brian Dawkins and Sean Taylor didn't make it.

Don't anyone get upset about it. The Probowler never EVER has all the best players at their position.

Nathan Vasher? Isn't he a backup with the Bears? He's only in cuz of that missed fg return for a TD.

Alexander

What's it going to be then, eh?

This is completely fair. Newman was just barely a touch below these players. I think his dropped interception and poor performance against Washington did not do him any favors.

Vasher has 8 picks this year. He deserved to make it.

DeAngelo Hall on the other hand ...... ugh, no.

Vasher starts for them and has started every game save one. He also leads the NFC in interceptions. Like it or not, there is a CB like this every year that makes it. Remember Audrey McMillian?

The probowl is a complete joke. Vick making the probowl just further validates that. I honestly think that fan voting needs to be taken away.

Michael Vick has thrown a whopping 13 tds and 12 ints. If thats not elite and probowl status, I don't know what is(sarcasm off).

I'm not mad about Bledsoe not making either.

Brunell deserves it more, imo. 20 tds to only 8 picks, compared to Bledsoe's 21 tds and 14 picks.

NFC QBS should be:

Matt Hasselbeck
Jake Delhomme
Mark Brunell
