looking into the "crystal ball" for the offseason I see these things possibly happening this offseason:

1) Parcells wil remain as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys

2) Zimmer will either be "released" from his contract, or is it due to expire some time soon? Regardless, the interview where Mr Jones basically said the defensive game plans need to be more creative was the writing on the wall. An assistant defensive coach will be signed from either the patties or the steelers to become the DC for the 'Boys.

3) Greg Ellis will be traded for either a draft pick, WR(raiders Porter?), or other DL. He played the company man for the majority of the season, I think so other teams will not see him as a locker room "cancer". But he still isn't happy playing OLB. Or is he a free agent? As for his replacement, Bobby Carpenter seems ready IMO.

4) Dante' Stallworth will be signed to replace a retiring Terry Glenn. 2 reasons: Terry's knee condition will force him to retire OR his release and how the eagirls refuse to open the wallet for Dante'. Sidenote: did anybody else see the end of the last eagirls/Cowboys game? Where Stallworth made a B-line to Coach Parcells(he even got there before reid did), gave him a hug as to say "don't forget about me in the offseason, I will be available...". That was interesting to me because I do not recall any kind of history between Stallworth and Parcells. Do any of you?

5) Terrel Owens will remain a Dallas Cowboy AND stay amazingly quiet until training camp while he continues to improve his interview technique.

6) Tony Romo will realize he needs to continue working hard and that NOTHING is easy to get in this league. He will refocus and work hard to become the next great QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

7) The big free agent signing will be for the......OFFENSIVE LINE(probably RG)

that's all I can see for now, it's still a little cloudy.

I can't agree about Glenn and Ellis. Glenn is still a quality deep threat. Ellis's value isn't there. Older, major injury to rehab.

I'd love to see a real 3-4 Def coordinator though. Zimmer is a rah rah loudmouth coach and his act is overdone. Jerry will let him take a fall, scapegoat or not to appease the mob. Someones head has got to roll.

1. Ppl complain about BP...here or not
b) will find flaws in new coach but still be excited
2. Will sign solid guys without giving up too much dough on the offensive and defensive lines
c) people will say that we shouldn't have signed who we did
3. We will draft defense
4. We won't get a big name wr

How are you going to sign Romeo Crennel as DC when he is head coach of cleveland. If cleveland did fire him, what makes you think he wouldn't go back to the patriots.

Are you sure you are using the right word? I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'm not necessarily agreeing this could happen, but being the DC of the Cowboys is probably a better opportunity with Parcells only around one more year and the possibility to be HC in 2008 than going back and working for Belichek.

Glenn will have to redo his contract to stay since he is owed a 5 mil bonus. I think he will do it.

We do this. Then pick up Deon Grant and move RW closer to the line of scrimmage.

That would definitely work.
