I think Parcells and Jones are going to come into the offseason looking to make the offense a little more explosive.

Whether that entails bringing in another receiver and/or shoring up the offensive line with more talent/youth.

I think Flozell is done quite frankly. He is probably going to have to redo his contract or be cut/traded. I wouldn't be surprised to actually see the entire offensive line to a certain degree get overhauled.

On defense it'll be replacing Keith Davis, and getting more linebackers.

The defensive line is probably set the way it is. As is the secondary beyond Keith Davis. I think they'll want to start Ware, Shanle/Burnett, James, Fujita next year.

But I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to get another explosive outside linebacker. And moved Fujita inside maybe to compete with the ilbs.

I agree with the bolded parts

Fujita would not fit well inside IMO

I think if at all possible we make a play on Abraham if not franchised...if he is, then look to draft a stud LB. I would love to see Brooks somehow fall to us...dream! Pushing Burnett inside...

I think we will add at least one top quality LT...draft has a few, depends on first pick though. May be a solid one still left at 64 ;)

We must get another young OG prospect...BP obviously is not set on Peterman...

I think there are a few solid WR's in the draft...don't know about 1st round material, but some talent in the 3rd rd area to become our #4 WR and inject more youth with Crayton...

Still need a FS, but there are a few guys to be had in the 5th round or so...may be an FA move.

I think we should keep Keith Davis as a backup, he will probably be happy to take a demotion, seems like a really humble guy

Between him and Pile...who ever is the best fit. A starter at FS is a must though.

I don't see why we would be doing anything with Flo regarding his contract. He's signed at a fairly attractive rate and we're not hard up against the cap. I think Larry is more likely to go. Flo moves to RT and we draft a LT like Marcus McNeill, Eric Winston, or similar. And then we have a terrific swing tackle in Petitti for 2 or 3 more years.

Offense, I just see us truly fixing the line and (please Lord) finding a top placekicker. Maybe developing another WR with a 2nd day pick. We have Crayton, but one more guy would make the transition effortless after they can't play anymore. Then, use 2007 draft to get a top, pressure WR.

Way out there thought: maybe a trade for one of the top, top RBs - Edge James, Shaun Alexander, Jamal Lewis.

Defense, I pretty much agree with you. I had been on board with Keith Davis being replaced, but a funny thing happened on the way to the division title. He hasn't been a total liability. He ain't done much, but he hasn't killed us by any means either. FS is the least of my worries, but still, a true ball hawk at FS would be nice and maybe another CB.

Agree on the linebackers. We need a killer opposite Ware and have been saying it since almost the beginning of the season. Need some guys inside now too, with Dat's surprise retirement.

I think we could see Ellis traded. His value would never be higher and we don't need him much with Canty's and Spears' growth. Ellis could be traded for a pass-rushing OLB.

Forgot one wish Santa. If that developing WR or CB could be an excellent punt returner too, that would be ideal. Our return game has been el stinko.

We are no different than any team. Everyone has holes. We have to draft the best available players -- when you start thinking stuff like "I have to have an OT" you end up reaching big time.

I don't believe for a minute that Flozell is going anywhere. He's not old, he's not expensive, and generally speaking he's not injury-prone.

and you know this because...?

is it something BP said, or is it because he can't beat out the money-makers, Rivera and LA?
