Is that technically a block in the back?

Don't get me wrong, love the play! I'm just genuinely curious.
At the end of the day... as legal as that hook on Wilson.

He did not get beat on that play but speed rushers are what give him fits.

I think that’s the greatest block that I have ever seen in over 40 years of watching football. I can’t stop watching it. I just ordered his jersey from one of those fake Chinese football sites.

I said it with Dak and I'll say it with filo, don't change a good thing. Btw, I've been a big supporter of Williams. But you can't deny the test.

I saw him handle Cox pretty much on his own through out the game. One thing he definitely has is strength.
You won't see him get pushed in to Dak by a big DT like CWill got pushed around.

It's refreshing to a see a guy who can physically impose his will out there.

It makes you wonder:

1. Why was Williams not given any competition in the preseason for the job.

Marcus Martin got injured
Some KC guy got injured too - that was probably later
Green blew chunks

But even if Williams didn't get injured, the spot was his to lose. They considered Williams a first round talent. They always think they can play next man up regardless of position. So they were ok with playing him at LG. And he wasn't that bad, and was getting experience.

We don't always play the best player. Sometimes we're playing for development.
