Ogletree looks like a natural. He reminds me a little bit of Chad Johnson. (No I don't think he is a whack job.) He gets in and out of his cuts, has great hands and body control. I enjoy watching him play better than any rookie receiver since I can't remember. Great pickup.

This is an excellent comparison

Tell me about John Philips?

What type of player is he?

Everyone seems to have Phillips pegged as a designated blocker, but he's got a lot more ability than that. He's a MUCH better athlete than anyone's giving him credit for. Fact is, almost all of his combine numbers were better than those put up by the consensus #1 TE in the draft (Pettigrew). He had 48 receptions in 2008. He's smart, knows how to get open and use his huge frame to make plays, and catches the ball when it comes his way. He can play in-line, H-back, slot, split or anywhere else. At the TE position, he's a complete player. Did I mention that he's smart?

My personal opinion: John Phillips will prove to be another steal.

2 for 36. not much, but enough to put him over stinbach for good.

Us getting Ogletree as an UDFA must upset you quite a bit. We got a guy who is that good and has already looked better than both Kelly and Thomas... each of who cost your skins a second round pick.
