Otree was a undrafted free agent. Some people put drafted player expectations on him. I wish him luck.
The guy was getting paid millions of dollars to catch a football. He should be expected to know the routes and catch the football. Whether or not he was drafted is irrelevant.

He got paid 615,000 last year.. Thats alot to us.. But not alot for football dollars.. I just think that, from where he came from Dallas got their moneys worth.. Is it time to move on, yes.. This board turns on everyone after a while

Regardless, he's made millions to catch a ball. He should be expected to do so, well.

Good Luck KO I don't hate the guy I wish him the best, some change might be good for him. It's amazing that so many people hate on the guy like he is the only WR to ever run a wrong route or misread a defense.

Ya, because Romo went undrafted too, he should also not know the playbook.

One thing is for sure. Schiano won't have a fraction of the patience Garrett/Jones had with Ogletree.

He'll have a chance in Tampa, especially in the return game. Stroughter and Roscoe Parrish are UFA...doubt either one is signed.

I think he'll go there and do reasonably well. He has the physical talent to be at least serviceable. There's really not much there on TB's WR depth chart. Sometimes getting cut or going to a new team is the best thing for a player.

I don't think I can name a player who solely owes his career to one person the way Ogletree owes his to John Garrett. I'm sure every coach stands on the table for his pet cats from time to time, and maybe a coach might stand on the table for a formerly productive and proven older player because he's not ready to give up on him yet (ie Parcells and Fabini/Marcus Coleman), but seldom does a Day 1 complete zero and undrafted free agent like Ogletree make it 5 years in the NFL just because one person fights for him time and time again.

It goes even further back to his stint in college.

I don't see what he sees in KO, but there must be something there he really likes.

Particularly a back of the roster role player who contributes nothing on special teams. It's baffling.
