and this is the most improtant thing I saw in Romo's performance, something I had yet to see happen with Bledsoe.

Romo used all of our weapons, it was the first time I saw the two TE offense that Parcells wanted to use this season.

Romo completed 2 or 3 passes to T.O. one for a TD. He hit Witten with 2 or 3 passes, he hit Fason with one that I can remember(I will go back and look at the game again) he hit Crayton with 2 or 3, maybe even 4, (one for a td) he hit Barber out of the backfield for a first down, he hit Glenn for 1 or 2 passes, and he almost connected with Hurd, who dropped the pass when the defender hit him, so Romo was spreading the ball around, that is a lot of weapons we have.

That really impressed me, but I keep hearing people talk about his Ints, there are always positives in negatives.

He actually threw three touchdown passes, one was an astonishing negative 96 yards the other way, those stat keepers are so picky.

Yeah, I remember that Bledsoe was pretty good at throwing those TD's too.

In fact I heard that Philly gave Bledsoe the game ball afterwards.

Keep in mind that my 18-month-old can complete a high percentage of passes against a prevent defense that has a 21-point lead.

I am extremely amazed at how people can be singling out plays to praise a performance of a player who produced a lopsided division loss.

I guess we should get used to it?

Don't even waste your time on cblog. His world exists in a dirty toilet, so he really has nothing to be positive about. Just another person to add to the ignore list.

I thought that Whitten was inactive this year until the 2nd half the other night. I also love Crayton on 3rd down with the focus on TO and Terry.

That's the main thing I never forget. In fact, it's foremost in my mind. All I want Romo to do now is play under control and everything will be fine.

ROMO has us all excited.

Really? Based on what? Certainly not what he has done on the field. I hope he turns out fantastic, but could we climb off of his jock prior to him doing something worth a darn?

He's far from being alone. Actually, I'd say the majority of the posts I read are gloom, doom, can't, won't, never, didn't ... etc.

I guess I take the same attitude with so called sports writers/reporters: your job is to give me the facts. No spin, no bias, no fabrication. If you're a fan: give me some hope, support, solutions.

The giants were not in a prevent defense, that tells me you do not have a clue about football and you sound real silly.

Strahan, said in his post game press moment that they were not going to let the back up guy come in and get off on them.

Romo did okay for the spot he was put in, regardless of the 3 ints. You probably think a lot of the undrafted QB that starts for the Panthers, who was also a backup for 5yrs.

:lmao2: unfortunately, Bledsoe would of been my pick for MVP of that Eagles game if I was the Eagles.

I recall 3 to TO, 4 to Witten and none to hurd...that was a pass by Bledsoe. But yea, guess the pro-bowl TE had been around all this time.

prevent defense??? do you even know what a prevent defense is?

prevent defense is "usually" 6 DBs, 2 LBs, and 3 linemen, Giants were never in a prevent defense!!

either you did not watch the game, you do not know what prevent defense is(let alone defensive formations in general), or you got a real bias against Romo in which you are trying to convince everyone here they were in a prevent defense hoping that either none of us know what a prevent defense is or none of us watched the end of the game.

which is it?

I have it recorded and Giants never gave up hence pressure that even Romo was under

All that, and he found three separate Giants defenders to throw the ball too. ;)

The guy isn't partial at all.
