Ok guys, i heard 2 things, first in the detroit game, with the detroit defensive line most of time beating our offensive line to snap of the ball, a friend told me that he noticed on film Larry Allen moving his finger right before closing his fist, then Mickey said something like with Bledsoe and al johnson having problems with the snap fumbles, bledsoe is taking longer to pull out, and the defensive line is keying off of that, before the offensive line moves. So shouldnt we in some way let the coaches know about that to get it fixed this week, if you remember the Detroit game and the Denver game half the time the opposing defense was beating us to the snap of the ball, whereas the offensive line should beat the defense to the snap of the ball.

I remember the opponents defense got good jumps on the ball when Quincy was QB in 2003 and Vinny last year. Larry Allen is the only lineman that has played all three of those seasons, so it is possible that he is doing something to key the defensive line.

Changing the snap count and cadence seems like a simple thing to do, but I have seen many games by many teams and QBs who do not use the snap count to their advantage. Sometimes it seems as if they are focusing on everything else they need to do, that they forget they can change the snap count.

It has been really strange to watch the last two weeks. At least there have been some offsides calls, but the refs missed a couple, too.

Yes, let's get a message to the coaches. I'm sure that Mickey and your friend catch lots of stuff the coaching staff misses.

if it was as simple as l.a. moving his finger you could sure set the dline up on that. i've watch the lions game 3 times and i can't figure out a tell.drew is very slow at coming out from center but i think thats due to earlier fumbles

Is this for real?

Let's also remember that we earned a lot of first downs on penalties due to the defense's early starts too...whatever they were doing the past two games was certainly not foolproof.

Yes, good point. Dallas is tied for first in the NFL with 33 first downs by way of penalty. On the flipside, Dallas' D has only given up 10 first downs on penalties, which ranks 3rd in the NFL.

It's so nice to have a seemingly disciplined team!

Yeah, but what i am saying guys, the Giants have a nasty defensive line, and we sure dont need them seeing some glitch our offensive line is doing or if Bledsoe is slow moving from center, got to remember 2 straight games now that opposing defenses are seeing something to jump, so in my mind we need to call that to coaches attention, so we will be ready to beat the giants, joe
