I'm just curious as to who thinks our starting QB for 2007 is on the roster.....

Root of the question....after Bledsoe is done, do we honestly think Henson or Romo will be the QB we are looking for?

For those of you that only care about the here and now....don't bother being smart arses...I'm looking for those interested in our long term health at QB.

I have not given up on Henson so I'll say he will come around before all is said and done.

Drew Henson. He should have his throwing motion change complteley down by then just as Romo got his down after a full season. He has all the tools to be a star in this league. If it not Henson then our 07 QB is not on the roster.

I'm honestly not sure. I hope it could be Henson or Romo, but I think there is a good chance we will draft somebody next year, or more likely sign a free agent.

Nope, neither will be the guy.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to have to start from scratch in 2007, because Parcells is not going to stand for a young guy's mistakes. I think our best hope is to trade for a backup that's been sitting behind a solid starter and will at least be familiar with the league.

I voted not on the roster, and I am hoping so. But Romo has my interest. Will be interesting to see who plays and how long Thurs. But I am hoping somehow, someway we can get a Culpepper or Manning (not Eli or Archie) type, if not the real deal. Its true, you dont need a Aikman or Staubach to go to the super bowl, but it sure as hell helps. And look at the teams with non superstar QBs, sure they got there and then what, nothing. Granted, Peyton hasn't won one yet, but hes always in the neighborhood and has actually knocked on the door a few times. Just no one answered when he was knocking. Anyways I like Romo but would prefer the next great thing be it Lienert, the Rivers kids (I have my doubts about this guy, I would prefer Brees myself) or some guy in Division 3 that we have never even heard of his school, let alone the player.

I dont know who will be here, more likely Bledsoe. But I would trade henson and my #1 for the next 2 years for the rights to leinert. I WOULD NOT throw the season to get him (cant believe I've seen that, but I have). The more I read about this kid, I am starting to like him. Hes the surest thing to being a stud QB in the NFL as I have seen in a long time. Not since Aikman I think have I felt so good about a guy translating well into the NFL.

No matter who is there though piloting the boys, I have confidence Bill will have a man ready to play and capable of not losing the game. It will be fun to watch the boys materialize in the next 2 years. Then we will be perennial contenders and odds on favorites (like it should always be!!!!).

Why do you want a long term QB to sit on the bench? I'm sorry but you guys who keep wanting to have somebody around "being groomed" need to "Cowboy up" and get over it.

If Bledsoe doesn't have a good season, then you go and get somebody next year. If Henson all of a sudden turns it on, fine, but I don't think you can really expect that now.

Just because the next franchise QB is not on the roster RIGHT NOW does NOT mean the QB position is "unhealthy" even in the long term.

We've gone through 8 starters since Aikman...I tend to think we have a QB health problem!

My man, Reggie McNeal out of Texas A&M! Will prove to all that hes better then Vince Young this year as a QB. McNeal has speed and CAN throw.
