OK. Now what needs to be done

Our new DC must be an agressive SOB.

Got to find another nasty pass rusher. Got to find a real FS. And we have to look very hard at our ILBs and are they good enough to cover RBs- if not they must be replaced.

On offense, the O line needs to be strengthened. ALL positions except maybe Gurodes needs to be up for grabs at next camp and we need competition. Rivera must go. Kosier- needs to be forced to fight like Gurode did this year. Same with our tackles- though maybe columbo will be ok.

On Defense,

Agree that we MUST find another pass rusher along side Ware. I don't know if Ellis will be back. I hope we do this in FA. This is the most obvious hole on defense, IMO.

As for FS, I think Watkins has been playing better the last couple of games. I thought he made a couple of good tackles today. I haven't given up on him by any means. However, I'd look to bring in some competition for him.

On Offense,

I'm actually o.k. with Gurode, Colombo, Flo and Kosier. Flo's play has improved since his injury, and while Kosier isn't a world beater, I think he's been playing o.k. IMO, Rivera is a MUST upgrade. Again, we can probably do this pretty easily in FA. But I'd draft another OL pretty high (Day 1), to provide competition as well as depth.

As for our RBs, I think the combo is solid. We can probably pick up another quality back in the 3rd or 4th round if we need to. I like our TEs, and our WRs. I expect much bigger things from Austin and Hurd next season. But in any case, I'd take one more WR Day 1 in the draft to groom behind our starters.

What's amazing is that even after we've spent so much money and picks on defense, it still seems to be our most obvious problem!
