If you post on this board with any regularity you're bound to have one of your opinions blow-up on you concerning the Cowboys...

It's time to come clean and cleanse your soul! :)

Give us one instance of when you were wrong. I say just one because some folks like Hos would have to leave a post that would rival the length of "War & Peace". :D

I'll start things off...

I was way, way off on Rob Petitti. I thought the guy would be THE starting right tackle for several seasons. Even after the struggles of his rookie year I "bought" the company line that he was greatly improved, that his weight was down, that he had the grace of "Fred Astaire"... blah, blah, blah.

Boy did that blow up in my face.

I've confessed... now it's your turn--

I thought that David LaFleur was going to be the next greatest tight end to wear the Star.

I fell for the Pettiti 2nd year hype myself as well, and I thought Drew Henson would amount to something given time, I also said no way in hell Parcells allows TO to join the Cowboys

I thought that JJ would never bring in TO- or that BP would go along with it.
I also thought that Petitti would improve and be solid.

I will oreface mine by saying I was in the Army at the time and very rarely got to see any college fb games.

When we drafted Emmitt I thought WHAT?????? A rb that had a broken foot and couldn't beat my usual pitiful Memphis St. Tigers.

:eek::

I thought Drew Henson was gonna shine like a diamond in a goats butt and Stephen Peterman was gonna be a lineman nastier than Brittany Spears panty-less beaver shot.Boy was I wrong on both counts.:(

I thought Henson had a good chance as well. I'd say I was 100 percent wrong on that one as well. Of course, there are many others as well but, we don't want to get into that right now.

I thought JuJo was really the answer after his first few games. I have never really jumped for joy over anything except when we drafted Emmitt.

I thought Jerry's hair was real. Oh, and I thought Henson was a steal.

I thought Mike Sherrod was healthy and would be with the Cowboys a long time.

I really wanted the Cowboys to trade up and get Pacman Jones a couple of years back.

There is no such thing

Oh yes there is... Look harder.

I thought Drew Henson was the real deal at Michigan, and thought Eddie George was going to run for 1500 yards with his 3.7 yards a carry. I thought for sure Bill would pound him harder than Jamal Anderson.

I was wrong on both...

I really wanted us to draft Mike Williams from USC.

Still not sure I was all that wrong.:

I was sure Parcells would lead us to at least 2 Super Bowl wins before he retired.
