Its time.I have this sick feeling Crayton will be the man.We havent had a great PR in so so so so long. Can we not grab one guy ?

Crayton doesn't muff it. I just want someone that can catch the ball back there, not someone that's going to be "shifty" and juke and jive all over the place. We tried that last year, nobody seems to remember that.

Plus, if someone is fair catching, maybe the punt return unit should block better instead of letting both gunners and a couple guys off the line get to the PR before he catches it??

Gimmie Roscoe any day of the week, he's a game breaker. But, I'm also fine with Crayton cause he's sure handed and I have all the confidence in the world in our O moving the ball consistently.

We need to make a phone call to cleveland. Joshua cribbs is a bad boy. The browns might want to re-evaluate their stance on not renogotiating his contract.

Him or Johnny Lee Higgins.

What do you think it would take to get them?

Higgins isn't happening, just give that one up; specially after the injury to Schilens. Cribbs would likely require a first day pick and also wouldn't happen because he is looking for a contract in the area of Hester's deal, which we currently can't afford.

Look for Roscoe Parrish to be cut in the coming weeks.

In words of Spags....if he is so good, then why is he being cut?.....:laugh2:

Because they screwed up and gave him a big contract assuming that he would come around as a WR, never happened. With the addition of Owens, Johnson, and Hardy they are now very deep as far as the WR corps is concerned and Parrish is looked upon as the odd man out right now.

Never thought of that.
I don't have a problem with Parrish, but couldn't resist the old Mickey line.

If you want to get technical he's being replaced by Steve Johnson, but yeah, T.O. certainly didn't help.

Ya they are loaded at WR and having Roscoe gives them 7 WR's. With the money he's making he'll likely be cut. We better swoop.

I want to see more of Ogletree, but based on what I saw vs Tenn and the talk in camp, there's no way I'd want Parrish at the expense of Ogletree right now.

Ya but seriously. I would like to have a guy that potentially changes the game over a guy like Ogletree who is just the 5th reciever you know? I get what your saying though. I would try my best to have 6 recievers though. I really like Ogletree alot. Tough decision. We need a PR desperatly though.

Not me. I'm perfectly okay with Crayton back there who rarely makes a mistake if it means being able to keep Olgetree. He looks like he has the making of a very good WR which we may need seeing how Hurd and Austin are only signed through this year.

But there is no threat in the punt return game. I've seen multiple times where that's changed the outcomes of games. Ogletree most likely won't see action on the field during the season.

14 career ypa is alot and could help swing field position. I like Ogletree alot also and would try every combination so that I could keep 6 WR's.

Well I don't like the offense getting the ball at our 10 yard line because Crayton fair catches it when nobody is around. Sorry.

Exactly. Its getting mighty old.Hester was a HUGE reason the Bears went to the SB.He even did his best to help them with a td in that game.Good returners are a big part of the game.
