ou, texas, bama, florida, usc, and penn state should be a part of a six team playoff.

i disagree that texas proved they are better than ou. ou wasn't the same team then that i saw last night. murray was pitiful against the horns and they never really ran the ball with brown. they lost their middle linebacker, then proceeded to give up 160 yards rushing after he went down. their line played bad against texas compared to last night.

in my mind, ou is gonna have to beat the sec champion to get any respect, including mine.

you don't have to like someone to understand where they're at. and ou's at the top of college football right now, JMHO.

also, i don't understand how someone can say they "really like college football" then turn around and call it a bogus/mythical sport. very laughable.

OU was DOMINATING teams before the RRS. Nobody was giving Texas a chance and Texas won by double Digi's.

OU may have gotten better. But so has Texas.

Texas has a better defense and by the way proved they were better on the field.

If you dismiss the game in October than you dismiss College footballs entire reasoning for not having a playoff.

Texas proved they were better than OU head to head. Its not even debatable considering all circumstances.

Its not like either team had a tough stretch of games going into the RRS.

Both teams knew what the deal was. OU threw their best punch and it wasn't enough.

45-35 Texas

If that game doesn't matter than don't tell me College football regular season is more safisticated than a playoff.

You can't justify leaving Texas out of a game that they beat both teams playing in it by double digits.

I would have been shocked if they didn't. Stoops was smart to keep running the no huddle up half a hundred. This is no time to call off the dogs. Are you listening Mack? I'm sure he's not.:bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

hell you're the one who said you loved college football... lol

Where? I like to watch College football.

Every other phase of College football other than its Atmosphere has major flaws.

You said you really like college football in the other thread.

Anyway, it is what it is. i love the atmosphere, the bowls, everything. I do, however feel that you would agree that there needs to be a small playoff.

but regardless of what you think or say, i feel that the pollsters do a good job of putting the best teams on top.

last year we could have gotten freaking ou in the NC against ohio state. they knew lsu was the best 2 loss team. unfortunately ohio state was basically there by default due to a poor conference which is why i think there needs to be a small playoff. SMALL, very small.

i think the pollsters got it right today, however i think #2 may be a bit high for ou. i would've waited 'till next week to see if they could beat state in stillwater first. i think with texas losing to tech, and ou completely dominating tech in the way they did proves they are the hotter team as of now. and florida and bama are both great teams. they will settle that one on the field and it's looking like it may be ou vs the sec champion, and ou will lose that game. well, unless that team from last night shows up, which i doubt will.

The Pollsters have been screwing it up for awhile.

And if it aint the Pollsters screwing it up its the computers screwing it up.

BTW OU will annihlate OSU @ OSU. Its basically a backyard game for OU.

I remember the first time OU came here to College Station to play the aggies in Big 12 play I was amazed at all the cars with their OU gear rolling in to town.

we're all entitled to our own opinion.

can anyone tell me the last time ou DIDN'T struggle in stillwater? their fans do travel well, but i've heard a few stories about o-state and "bedlam" ticket policies that will keep sooner fans out of that stadium. something to do with purchasing season tix if they want to attend that game.

either way, it will be a hellish environment for oklahoma, but after what i saw last night, i wouldn't bet against the goons. at least not until the bcs.
