There isn't that much wear and tear. No serious injuries. Still has speed. This is a no-brainer.

Yah........not sure I would do that one. I would be very tempted, however. I would definitely give up a 3rd, probably a 2nd round pick. Draft picks are too important. And he would have to sign for 6 million per year or less.

With Adrian Peterson and this line, Cowboys might have the first 3000 yard rusher in NFL history.

My thing with Chris Johnson is wondering if he's motivated to help bring us a championship. No doubt that this guy has the tools to excel in our offense but I just don't want a guy coming here to collect a check but rather than come here to win a SB ring.

When do we get running backs to start offering vet minimums to run behind this line?

No. I don't ever want to take the chance if everything turns bad and we end up in the top 10 of the draft, not having a pick.

They'll only sign chris johnson if none of the 4 RBs they already have fail in camp. Highly unlikely though the way this OL will be opening holes.

They already said he was on their short list. He will be a Cowboy soon. Won't cost much. Might be the final piece.

The approach is the opposite of win now. Win now means going out and signing a bunch of high priced vets.

The Cowboys are building a team and stocking it full of young talent.

Nope. I MIGHT give them a 2nd. But that would only be if he renegotiated (not restructured) his contract to something a lot more reasonable.

Charean Willians on The Fan earlier said signing Collins does NOT mean we will address the RB situation and we plan to go with what we have this year.

I'd give up a 2nd but not the first.

Just because the mental imagery of AD behind this OL is just too good to pass up.
