Of that list, only Crawford is a must. However, me thinks Hardy will be playing by week 4 and Jerry will get him another contract before the season is over.

Agreed and would be very happy if we extended Hardy.

Still, that is 9 players that we will most likely be counting on heavily on d this year. That's not even touching Sean Lee and hopefully a healthy season.

The smart move would be to get a QB and let him sit for a year or 2. But that is risky if he never pans out.

aQB will be sitting longer than that. probably for the entire length of his rookie contract.

Sounds nice but I like things the way they are or just get a good veteran that could ball out behind this line. Oh wait.... We have already. I don't really like the idea of a superstar team, takes away from the fun of winning it all. Besides that this team needs to grind and having AP may make them complacent at some point. HAAAAA yeah right! Don't mean to offend anyone but this isn't a Ware led team with everyone waiting for him to make a play he isn't going to, The Kraken will have these boys fired up! Cant Wait!!! Really don't care for AP coming here anymore but yeah we should kick the tires and see if he has anything left.
