Below will be some possible subtractions from the Cowboys, and a little insight. and Possible Draft and FA possibilities
Offensive Line
This group has been a problem for Dallas for over a decade, and it really needs to be fixed, if this teams wants any legit asperations of a super bowl. The OL thats on the roster right now is either 30somethings, or 2nd/3rd rate talent. When the best OL you have is a guy who is a yr back from a injury that almost cost him his career, you know you have problems.
Flozell Adams LT: Can he still play? Yes, but only if you're going to babysit him with an extra TE for an entire game. He still has strength and size, but the guy has no lateral movement. So unless a DE is going to continuously run straight into him rather then give him a spin move or run around him, he's not going to be able to protect Romo's blind side. Dallas has one more yr with him, and then he's lost. If he has value for a team this coming yr does Dallas attempt to trade him?
Marco Rivera RG: He clearly is the worst lineman the Cowboys have, and thats not really beating around the bush. He is usually on his back and he seems to have forgotten basic assignments that just a couple yrs ago he was praised for. Without mincing words, Rivera is history.
Andre Gurode C: Well Gurode is a different case, while he leaves you with something to be desired of a OL. He can play all 3 middle posistions which make him very valuable to any team. Will he ever be a probowl type of player? NO, but what he will be is a steady starter for his career. I think dallas should keep him, because he has so much experience. Even if he isnt a starter, the guy would provide envaluable depth for this team.

FA Possibilities
Eric Steinbach G: i think everybody will be after this guy, he's just comig into his prime, and plays with perfect technique. Only thing is he's not a UFA, he's restricted. So if the Bengals give him a 1st round tender, then he's pretty much stuck. While he is good, he's not Hutchinson good, and he wouldnt be worth a 1st rounder they would have to give up to get him.
Leonard Davis G: I'm going to list him as a Guard because i really think that's where he's a better fit. When he played Guard for the Cards a few yr's ago he was giving Allen his run for his money as being the best Guard in football. But out if need, the Cardinals had to play him at Tackle. Wrong move.
Mike Gandy G/T: Another guy who is playing in his prime, wouldn't be expensive at all, and could be signed later in Freeagency. Gandy would actually make a very gopod replacement for Rivera because they're basically the same kind of players, playing with technique rather then strength. Out of all the OL in freeagency i think this signing would make the most sense. Basically because he can play Guard and Tackle.
Sean Locklear T: Irony? A guy that should have been a Cowboy to begin with. But dallas chose the dreded Jacobs. Actually Dallas even chose Peterman over Locklear too. Embarrassing isnt it. Could they right a wrong in dallas with this one?
Damieon Macintosh T: Will be 30 yrs old this yr, but one thing is he's healthy. Do they rent him or would it be smarter to keep Flo? i got no idea

DRAFT PROSPECTS 1ST RD (REALISTIC)
Levi Brown T: A natural LT that could come in a start from day 1. he's not fast, but hes young andhe plays aggressive. The OL has to get younger some time, and when better then possibly a fresh start with a new coach. If Parcells is no longer with the Boys come Draft Day this could be a very good possibility.
Kyle Young C: A center in rd 1? dont put it past them with a good combine. Young is a monster not only for his posistion but as a OL. 6'5 335 and another thing to look at is he's not flabby, or look like a slob withhalf his stomach coming out of his uniform. The guy is a rock, all you have to do is look at Logan Mankins and u see Kyle Young. Some feel he might be better at Guard, his stance is awkward for a center, as he gets low to the ground for better posistion on the snap of the ball. While it works great for posistion it gets a little rough for QB's , especially if theres a blitz coming because he's so low to the ground.
