We were not going anywhere if we got in anyway. We might have beaten TB; but not likely anyone else. And with their good D line that would have been a toughy. With all the injuries we had to the people we needed, this was not going to be our year. Better to start planning to fix our problems now.

Injuries are part of the game. We're going to have injuries EVERY year. We can't count on an injury-free year to carry us.

We had our chances. We blew them. Washington, Seattle, Denver ... take your pick. Missed FG's are the name of this season.

Don't be surprised when you see Sean Suisham as our Kicker next year ... god forbid we pay $1 more than we need to for a Kicker.

I honestly think we will ATTEMPT to upgrade the kicker position in FA.

Whether someone good is available is another story. (Sort of like the problem we had at FS this off-season.)

If it makes us feel any better, the Skins will be hobbling into Tampa. Razor-thin secondary, Portis banged up, Brunell on a gimpy knee, etc.

Like I said in other threads-everything ends up working out for the best.

Injuries- to whom they happen and when- is the key in the NFL anymore. No one is deep enough to take a whole bunch and still win. Whoever stays more healthy among the good teams is the one that wins.

We weren't exactly ravaged by injury. Losing Flo and Henry suck bigtime, but I look around the league at playoff teams and they're forced to overcome similar issues.
