When Doug gets beat, he gets beat bad. But if you had to choose a weak position on your line, what would it be?
Also noticed that Martin just stonewalls his man, almost every play. It's ridiculous.
The video doesn't lie. This OL, especially at RT, needs to improve BIGTIME. They nearly cost us the game last night.

Again, when Dak is in shotgun, do me a favor and count how many times he has to pick up snaps at his ankles. This has NOTHING to do with positioning of his hands.
From your opening post:
T Fred nearly cost us another turnover by snapping the ball off his behind.
You have moved the goal posts to the shotgun play but I responded to you originally about YOUR claim about the fumbled snap in the opening post.

If you're going to dodge the nonsense of your own words, just say so.

You still haven't discussed how many times Dak has to pick up snaps at his ankles. Your pictures prove nothing other than he didn't even put the ball where Dak could get it.

Anyone heard what Willie McGinest said on Total Access after the game? He said "I said since training camp, put your best DLineman on Free and he will get to the QB all the time" something to that context...

I am sure teams know this as well .. seems a weak link

According to our draft expert Free was fine in this game.

That's a no brainer. JPP has been heating up lately. 7.5 sacks so far and coming into form. Free will have his hands full

You have some unknown difficulty following normal conversation. I posted the original question. You still haven't answered it. You want me to comment about snaps at Prescott's ankles? Do the correct thing and answer my question first and I'll follow suit.

Put your hands under the center and Dak did that, T Fred unfortunately snapped the ball horribly where there was no way Dak could get it. Go watch the replay. Even the announcers pointed it out. I'll even say that maybe both were at fault a little, but it was NOT a clean snap. They both need to get on the same page. Fair enough?

Now please discuss why he is so inaccurate at snapping the ball while Dak is in shotgun. That split second throws off rhythm and can ruin a play. It is happening frequently unfortunately. No excuse for it.

Bold--> That's all I needed to read concerning your knowledge about the subject. Thanks.

I have not witnessed Fredrick snapping a significant number of inaccurate exchanges during shotgun formations. That said, the center is always responsible for delivering the ball as quickly and cleaning as possible to his quarterback. Fredrick is not an exception and should be blamed for his errors.

Later today (late actually) I will review all of last night's snap exchanges that took place while Dallas was in the shotgun formation and give you my opinion of the quality of each snap. I will judge for myself if the word "frequently" is accurate.

The biggest turnover of the game was Free allowing his guy to run right by him nearly untouched. T Fred nearly cost us another turnover by snapping the ball off his behind.

There were several VERY key plays worth pointing out. First drive of the game, LT Smith jumps early killing off the drive. Free wipes out a game changing 42 yard run with a holding penalty. (I do think this call was BS) Lastly, not directly related to the OL but the Escobar penalties were beyond costly.

These guys need to clean it up if we are going to make a deep playoff run. Dak once again would have had zero turnovers if he had good blocking throughout. Zeke would have gone for 150+ and a TD and we would have won by 2-3 TDs or more.

I feel they will get better and clean it up against the Giants.
Evidence of the team appearing mentally tired and out of synch...for sure the sloppiest play of the year thus far.

We are both nitpicking, and gladly we are doing this while we are 11-1 and top of the NFL. All correctable mistakes... And for the record I really like T Fred and the OL. But to say they need to improve in some aspects is a complete understatement.

I saw it a few times last night. But, also prior games as well (the bad snaps). Dak had better and more consistent snaps in college at MSU.

I am not nitpicking. How can I nitpick with visual evidence AND Prescott's commentary to refute your claim about the fumbled snap? C'mon Gabe.

I read into Dak's comments that he was attempting to take up for his center. We can disagree on that one.

I don't disagree that Free has to play better in order for us to make a deep post season run, but they do pay the other guys too, and they are actually pretty good.
That's an unacceptable answer. They pay guys to rush vs Smith, but HE does his job & stones them. We need to either move Collins over to RT next season, (if he's healthy), or draft another OT. I never liked the pick of Chaz Green-especially in the 3rd round. He's been hurt for two years now. The answer is not, "Well, we expect their guys to beat our guy half the time because they get paid to". The answer is, "We're going to get better at that position, so we can continue to dominate anyone who dares to get in our way".

You can read whatever you want. Prescott owned up to a mistake that happens to all quarterbacks.
