WAY back in the day, I could:

1. Do many string tricks with my fingers, like Jacob's Ladder, etc.
2. Solve Rubik's Cube in no time flat. Simple formula once you learned it.
3. Walk the dog with a yo-yo.

I don't think I can do ANY of those any longer. What you folks got?

Way back in the day, I could:

1. Do the Lemon Twist (a twisty spinny device on the ankle) and the Hoolahoop at the same time.

2. Lounge on a tree branch like a leopard, watching the activities below without anyone noticing I was there.

3. Walk on the very tiptops of my toes down the shell road of my trailer park barefoot.

"Pie In The Face" was one of my favorite games.

We'd put mustard on it to up the ante..........little bro tried it first. Looked painful. :)

Twister with my brothers girl friends. Heh.

Still love Yahtzee..........

Elementary school recess: Dodge ball lined up against the wall (we had a small playground) with no catching allowed. One person about 10-15 ft away trying to peg 10-12 kids lined up against a closed in wall. Really helped with you "wiggle" or "juke" moves if you payed sports later. Was amazing fun though and didn't know what standard dodge ball was until I went to Catholic school:oops: Got a few snickers from my new classmates...until they eventually preferred the same set up:D

Wall ball and we used a racquetball. If ya got hit with it, then ya had to hold up the wall while others threw it as hard as they could at your rear end. Miss that game :)

Kickball was used for us, but were different times :D Racquetballs would knock someone out cold:p Imagining explaining the black eye to your mom. Knowing a whooping is coming for being stupid on top of already suffering physically/humbly from your childish stupidity.

1) Throw a football over a mountain.
2) Hypnotize a water buffalo just by pointing at it, in kinda a horizontal "hook 'em horns" configuration.
3) Skin a buck, and run a trout line.

Well, if ya didn't want a black-eye, then we would move faster

That wasn't really an issue because "our" rules states that no thrown balls above the waist(we started carrying cups around after a few got hit you know where) in that part of the game. Now, if you were the loser of that round and had to face the wall, hunched over with the legs spread......you were fair game!

I jumped the fence alot.

No particular reason other than it was quicker to jump the neighbor's fence and go through their backyard to get to the park. They even left a section for me when they were building out their garden. lol

I was an outdoor kid, so the usual skating, bike riding, softball, kickball, etc. I was the only girl who played sideline tackle football with the boys.

Just remembered another: Dunking bballs on the monkeybars! Had our own mini dunk competitions:D

Respect WG! I shamefully used the horse collar a bit differently in that I would just grab the back of kids t shirts and swing them to the ground (cheap yeah, but was just easier:D). I'm sure their moms loved all the shirts I ruined over time. Maybe you should have looked into vaulting with your fence hopping genetics breeding you:p

We did as well but just lowered the goals to about 8ft and used those mini-bballs ya get at fairs, etc.

We used to play that game too but we called it 'butts up'.

Four and a half minutes? Man that is impressive. You would have been a hell of a free diver.

WISHED we had that capability; would've been super sweet most deft! Even the regulation baskets were always slants downward from older kids dunking on them too much, etc. (jagoffs:D)
