That would have been bad. Parcells turned the team around (regardless of what people here like to think) and even if we didn't have Parcells, AB still would have been an immature punk.

We had to part ways, there's no doubt about it.


I wish some other team had drafted him... and he ENDED UP in Dallas, not the other way around.

He made a big catch earlier then mouthed off or tossed the ball, something, and got a penalty for it. So he really has not changed. He will have one monster game then disappear for 2 or 3. PASS.

All he did was underhand toss the ball about 10 yards instead of giving it to the ref on a 40 yard catch.

Got a 5 yard delay of game for it. Not a big deal. undisciplined yes, big deal, no.

1 penalty doesn't bring the guy back to idiotic material. The guy is a stud now.

Dallas handled the whole situation poorly. If he had to go, then they should have got rid of him the day he threw the jersey in Parcells' face. They didn't. They kept him up until the trade deadline before getting rid of him. Any message they were trying to get across to Bryant or the rest of the team was lost by then. You either get rid of him on the spot or you don't get rid of him. You don't drag your feet on something like that. They could have even suspended him until they found a trade partner, but they didn't do that, either.
