On pace for less rushing touchdowns than last year

Let's make a sig bet on this topic. They will beat 5. A month? Winner picks the loser's sig?

Sure why not
I commend you. 99% of the posters here making this thread would have backed off when confronted. You have earned my respect.

murray will get 5 by himself if he lasts the season.

which is a big if the way he keeps getting hit in the backfield.

Still has better odds of making it through game 16 then Romo has.

Just curious Hostile (not saying you are wrong)... but what makes you confident that we can?

It's hard to explain, but I can see how the OL is progressing, and I think their chemistry is getting better. Once it does, I feel very confident Murray will start to make teams pay and pay dearly. He has a great push and I like that in a RB.

Because 10 (or less) TD's on the ground in 2 years would probably be an all-time NFL low. The odds are in his favor.

The O Line play through the league is so bad this year it becoming ridiculous. Look at the Pack and the Egirls. Those lines stink as bad as this one. Seems like 80% of the guys who come in the league now come from a College spread offense. Run blocking? What's that?

It's easy to explain. You have no ability whatsoever to be critical of the status quo of the Cowboys. It's been that way since Quincy was chucking ducks every Sunday.

It would have to be historic.

But hey, let's stockpile cornerbacks....says our brain trust.

pretty much. in 2011, only three teams rushed for 5 TDs or less. in 2010, no teams rushed for less than 7 TDs. in 2009, two teams rushed for 5 TDs or less. even if you're a terrible rushing team, hostile's got way the best of this bet.

progressing?

OK I will give you that we have cut way down on penalties.

But otherwise? Going from putrid to terrible is nothing to be proud of.

Sacks down too.

The main problem right now is footwork on blocking patterns. That is fixable. Bernadeau is the one guy I might not try to at this point. I don't know if he is tentative due to the surgery, or that stiff, but they are going to continue to improve.

Squat and watch.

#1 passing defense in the NFL through the first 25% of the season.

Your gripe is invalid.

I'd say the best the OL has looked was in the opener. And I'd be right when I say that.

I don't see any progression at all. I see a huge weakness teams have continued to exploit.

I understand the need for chemistry, but that only works when there's talent. Bad players are bad players. No matter how long they play together.
