Yes... it looked to me as if a couple of players were trying to hold him up... others weren't getting it...

I thought of that... but that would be a little risky. Still, it would've been nice for those final two ticks to go off.

The officials might have been quick to blow the whistle when forward progress had been stopped.

i would never think quick enough to "not tackle " someone to let 2 seconds
run off the clock...and since it was dante hall i am not sure if it would be
safe to let that slippery rascal have any extra time to get away from you.
