Like last year when out of 443 carries the coaches said Randle's name 51 times.
Murray 392
Randle 51
Dunbar 29
Total 472

What does last year have to do with today?
Murray 392
Randle 51
Dunbar 29

Dunbar is considered the 3rd down or change of pace back.
472- 29= 443 like I said
We're a few weeks away from final cuts. Are there any specific (bubble) players on another team you guys are paying close attention to?
I just caught the end of cincy's game and their rookie rb, Terrell Watson definitely got my attention. Big guy from D2, seems to posses some athleticism and considering our backs are built like 3rd down backs, he could be our change of pace guy.
Who will you guys be watching?
It's funny to think that a few months ago there was a thought that we went overboard on the number of linebacker additions. Now we're looking for ore depth. These situations can change that quickly.
Montee Ball!
It was rumored a couple weeks ago that he could be cut, while that may be true...I believe there is a real chance he could be third string in Denver and Juwan Thompson showed he is at least worthy of a roster spot last season averaging 5YPC.
Cinn, they have several RB including a rookie Terrell Watson 6'02" 240 and runs a 4.51 would not mind a load like that behind this OL
This is my thinking as well. I am fine with Randle starting and a combo of dmc and Dunbar serving as 3rd down backs, but late in the game when we need to kill time, I want a big bruiser like Watson or wilder.
For how long is the real question

Actually the Cowboys, Bengals, Falcons, Ravens and Texans were all heavy players to get Terrell Watson signed as a UDFA. I'm sure he's still on the Cowboys radar. Funny thing is Terrell is from Oxnard where the Cowboys hold training camp. The reason Terrell went with the Bengals was they flew him out during the pre draft process. Most Bengal fans and followers have given Terrell very little chance to make the active roster and expect the team to waive him and try to sign him the practice squad. Probably a good chance that he gets swiped up by another team, if that happens.
I heard there was a heavy contingent of scouts from other teams watching the game (maybe with Terrell as a primary target). There was a lot of mystery about Terrell coming out of college dominating division 2 opponents and whether it would translate to the NFL. His performance the other night obviously opened some eyes. It was reported that he got a lot more reps at Bengals practice today. So maybe they are reconsidering him for the active roster. I'm not sure.
Terrell info a lot of people don't know-
He led the state of California in rushing, his senior year in high school.
He led the nation in rushing his senior year in college (all levels of collegiate ball).
He won the MVP at the NFLPA all star game.
He literally has excelled at every level he's ever played.
I'm obviously a fan of his, but his talent is real.
