We're a few weeks away from final cuts. Are there any specific (bubble) players on another team you guys are paying close attention to?

I just caught the end of cincy's game and their rookie rb, Terrell Watson definitely got my attention. Big guy from D2, seems to posses some athleticism and considering our backs are built like 3rd down backs, he could be our change of pace guy.

Who will you guys be watching?

I doubt Watson gets cut.

I think Burkehead will be considered as a WR there so they will go short.

As far as RB is concerned I'm looking at Buffalo and Seattle. Christine Michael or Bryce Brown.

Those are just names though.. There may be better canidates then those guys.

Buffalo, Seattle, Denver seem to be the teams that will be releasing a guy that can make this roster at running back.

Last things i read seemed to say that Rawls was losing the 3rd string RB job. Still an interesting name if we decide that McFadden or Randle isn't going to be an answer this year.

And I think the only way they don't make the team is if McFadden gets hurt or Randle says something stupid.

I think the Cowboys will roll with players already on the roster, including RB unless they decide to carry 4 RBs.

They could look at a returner if Whitehead has more fumbles.

Bryce Brown is a real enigma. Has shown absolute dominance at times, but always remains buried on depth charts. Gets opportunity, does little, gets another, goes off... ? Can't understand why he hasn't been given a starting gig by now- something seems amiss.

I'm thinking it's more/something else than that. I know he has fumbled enough, but it was mainly when he was hurried into the role his first season, at the end of the year, due to an injury to McCoy at the time.

It's funny to think that a few months ago there was a thought that we went overboard on the number of linebacker additions. Now we're looking for ore depth. These situations can change that quickly.

We only need a LB that can play some, and not mess up, until McClain returns. But I understand that we need to create some competition for that spot also.
I say this in thinking McClain only misses his 4 games from suspension. Not the 8 games that was rumored by the media.

You never know where you're going to need the depth. It's crazy sometimes.

Though it's a safe bet your LBs and your RBs are going to get knicked, every season. Going deep at LB for that reason was smart.

Cinn, they have several RB including a rookie Terrell Watson 6'02" 240 and runs a 4.51 would not mind a load like that behind this OL

I was really surprised we did not sign Watson, he was the one RB I was hoping for after the draft.
