Link didn't work.

But I'm assuming it was some sort of 30 yard slant?

How about Novacek & Emmitt blocking downfield for Irvin :)

That is awesome TEAM football

Hmm. The link worked perfect for me.

That was a great play, and some nice downfield blocking by Emmitt and Jay.

wierd, link didn't work the first time, but it's working for me now.

I remember that play. I remember after the game in an interview Aikman said the play was originally suppose to be a 30 yard slant, but that he audibled it to a comeback route instead. :D

but but but...but Irvin pushes off

its amazing how people dont give this guy credit for how awesome he was ON the field...and he worked his ARSE off to be a great player, because he had major knee injuries in each of his first two seasons

no excuse for him not being in the Hall of Fame...none

That was your earliest memory? Christ I'm old.

Not my earliest, I remember the playoff games from 1991 against Chicago and Detroit fairly well. I remember my first Cowboys game against the Cardinals in 1990 when I was 5 (one of my earliest memories, period).

You have not lived until you have to suffer through a 1-15 season. But you also missed a ton of good stuff as well.

My first memory(that it still etched in my memory at least) was the post route in the NFC championship that same year. I remember watching that play dozens of times though(I made my dad buy the 1992 Dalls Cowboys season video).

Seeing Smith blocking downfield like that is the pefect example of why that team won a lot. They had superstar quality players who were willing to do the little things as well *cough Randy Moss cough*
