is Colombo.

Even though he had a tough outing yesterday (due to injury), I love his aggressive personality.

He really reminds me of our OL in the 90s. Guys like Tuinei and E Williams, for example.

Colombo is just a mean street fighter, a real scrapper. (And let's remember, this is really only his 2nd year of fully starting since he got injured.)

Remember when he was pushing Strehan around during the last Giants game in NY? How about the game where D Hall was talking trash and Colombo leveled him last year? That cheap shot on J Jones versus the Eagles a few weeks ago . . . . it was Colombo who started pulling players off.

Even though he was hobbled during the 1st quarter versus the Packers, he kept the NFL sack leader off Romo's backside.

I wish our entire Defense played with his personality.

Yeah, Columbo was a warrior yesterday even though he struggled a bit.

Makes you wonder what type of confidence (or lack thereof) Wade Phillips has for the backup RT?

As far as intensity on defense, Greg Ellis was fired up at one point and was very animated on the sidelines.

I have been holding out on getting a jersey but I think my favorite player on the team not named Anthoy Ramiro Romo is non other than The Barbarian.

The Barbarian showed why JuJo may not be here next year. The guy is just an amazingly tough guy to bring down. I actually thought about uploading some video of him punking another player during the game as they tried to tackle him.

That catch he made for a TD was just the bomb and just showed how great his hands are.

He reminds me of Kevin Gogan. Always right in the middle of the scrum. Very happy with him.

We really had some nasty OL back then and they played with some real attitude. :laugh2:

Tuinei, Big E, LA, Gogan, and Step. (he was probably the "nice" guy)

You gotta love Colombo's attitude. The guy leaves it all out on the field that is for sure.

That is what I love about this team in general, we have guys like Colombo, Witten, MBIII and too many others to list that are just hard working blue collar guys that give it everything they got every play.

Don't forget big Nate.

Big E was the roughest OT I have ever seen.

Gogan just wanted to fight everyone. When Gogan left I was sad. Until I saw LA.

It's really too bad about Big E's car accident.

If not for that accident, I honestly felt he was a HoF type OL. He had that much talent. I still remember those GB games not to mention the 2nd Super Bowl against the Bills. In the Super Bowl, we just decided to run behind him and ride Emmitt in the 2nd half. And I think he intimidated the GB DEs :)

I agree, that car wreck derailed a very promising career. I think he was easily the most feared OT in the NFL prior to that wreck. The guy was simply a mauler. I never saw anyone push around Reggie White like he did. It was beautiful.

let me ask you guys something....was it selfish for him to play on that bum wheel yesterday? We have to make a decision on him this offseason and I am wondering if he did not want the organization to get a look at McQuistan for fear that the team would not experience a drop off.

I agree he is a tough guy. Hopefully, the o lineman we took last year from BC will be a tough guy as well. Speaking of players I like....Did Fasano play yesterday? I know Whitten was getting the touches, but wasn't sure if he was in much?

Hos,that car wreck, after the SB win, sorta signalled the beginning of the downhill slide for the boys back then. We didn't immediately fall off the cliff, but real crap started happening about that time...Cocaine,hookers,the "White House",just to name a few.Back then,I wanted all of America to enjoy and love MY Cowboys, but it seemed that a lot of folks around the country were looking for anything to use to hate on the Cowboys...And we didn't help matters very much. Like throwing gasoline on a fire,it was. Anything that a 'Boys player did that was questionable was splattered across headlines and usually made the lead in the evening news. It was about that time that my attitude began to change regarding the rest of the NFL and their fans. I didn't know the name for it exactly back then, but I believe it was a wise gentleman who put a name to it....Embrace the Hatred!

I see sorta the same thing slightly beginning to happen with the Patriots, but you what,no matter how obnoxious they get, they will probably never be as hated as the Cowboys were, and still are in a lot of areas.

The minute we hired Barry Switzer I said to my friends, "stuff will start happening and this great team will begin to dismantle. That is Switzer's legacy."

That car wreck happened I knew the great days were gone and dark days were coming.

No, I don't blame Switzer for Big E's wreck. I just knew more stuff was coming.
