When you're busy with a ton of work and someone is outside with a weed blower, it can drive you NUTS! If you owned a car as loud as a leaf blower, you would totally get a ticket. I remember one Saturday I had my first day off work in 12 days thanks to being super busy, and I was finally going to be able to sleep in and be able to overcome my exhaustion. Then at 8 AM some genius decided it would be a swell idea to use a leaf blower right outside my bedroom window. The fact that I'm not sitting on death row somewhere now proves that I possess remarkable restraint.

If I could live in a complex that forbids leaf blowers and makes their maintenance guys use leaf rakes instead, that would be worth paying extra money for. I've used the hearing protectors that you use when shooting a gun, but that only muffles it some. The sound is still overwhelming. They're going to drive me nuts!

Considering they are a man portable means of fan forced air and manually operating the bellows on my 'dry washer' quickly runs blisters between my fingers while running concentrates during my desert gold panning hobby days,I got the semi brilliant idea to hook one up,,,it blew everything, including golf ball sized rocks to hell and gone,,, still got that high dollar stihl casing-liner laying around too,,, maybe if I'd have skinned it out further away from the works with a couple of flexible clothes dryer vents or something,,, but I've not tried that or went since

i composed this all the while listening to the u-tube video ( which runs an insane length of 720 minutes )of the weed blower humming along and now think I've a headache coming on
