Success would be short-lived. One year of success and both Rivera and Garrett would probably be interviewing for HC jobs. Worst case scenario would be Rivera and Garrett gone to other teams as HC, and Terry Glenn retiring (?) and perhaps even TO gone (?).

I have a feeling Jerry Jones is taking all this into account. Tough situation. The future appears bright but success could drain this team after only one year.

with Regards to Garrett.... Dallas is special to him.... if he was inline to be HC in a a year or two or three... he would stay as OC and wait it out....

Rivera.... could be bolt

Long answer

noooooooo

really long answer

because i said so

:)

(really because when you win one, you want to win more, these guys will win as many as they can, then when they dont they'll bolt.)

I doubt Garrett gets much attention next year since he is still pretty inexperienced. (They would still have Sparano on staff too)

If Rivera bolts then they would still have Bowles to continue whatever successful defense they were using.

I'm not really concerned about how long Garrett or Rivera would be here as coordinators. If they prove themselves then some one will give them a chance but remember every single year there is a new list of who is hot in the NFL coaching ranks and to try and predict how long Garrett would remain is a waste of time

Whether we lose coaches or not, success could be short lived. We have 2 old receivers and old Olinemen that need to be replaced. Parcells ignored the offense in the draft. We have to get younger there for us to have longterm success.

The Oline is actually pretty young across the board. Rivera being the only one that needs to be replaced now and Flo being a possibility with a young replacement already waiting in the wings. Parcells has also been pretty upfront that he thinks both Hurd and Austin are going to players in the future. I think Hurd has already shown an ability to play (in games) and Austin has flashed some impressive athletic ability and speed.
