All I can say is, "Shut the f up and play!"
Greg, you have been a solid, stable, consistent player for the Cowboys who was drafted early, got paid well, and never reached star status...many will argue you never lived up to that top 10 pick.
You have had two major leg injuries.
You are a 4-3 DE, struggling in space in a 3-4, who's best years are behind him.
Whether it's in Dallas or elsewhere you are still not an every down player right now...coming off an achilles where guys much younger have taken 2 seasons to fully recover...nobody is going to give you a starting job.
In Dallas you have a great chance of playing an important role in a young and talented team taking that final step...a step you have never taken before...and instead of embracing that leadership and mentoring role all you are doing is crying like a spoiled 6 year old.
This is coming from someone who has defended you when all the Randy Moss talk comes around too.
All I can say is you had a chance to go down as one of the most popular Cowboy players, because you always did your job both on and off the field and true Cowboy fans appreciated that, but you have tarnished that image badly, Greg.
Your career doesn't demand a new and better contract, your ability doesn't demand a starters job without earning it on the field and the sooner you accept those facts, the sooner you can be that leader, that situational pass rusher reeking havoc, and renew your place in Cowboys history.
