I try to imagine this made-believe world where Zeke is ignoring his family members, friends, and other mentors, but then sees a fan say something, and suddenly "gets it".

He's either going to figure it out or he isn't. People who might be able do something about it are his agent, coaches, parents, and his boss (Jerry).

Zeke does not need to apologize. The NFL and Goddell needs to. Period. This is nothing more than a witchhunt. If you don't like it then go worship the Giants. Its probably best that you do.

Just think about what you know Zeke has done. Not been accused of, or was somewhere where something happened. What exactly do you know about what kind of person he is?

I would say I am weary of Sir Jerry picking talent over character, but other teams have it as bad or worse!
It seems the NFL and NBA, in general, have a talent pool that often is filled with the bottom of the barrel as far as integrity and character. The athletes, laden with backgrounds molded in the mean streets, value ostentatiousness and bling and swagger over good values.
I am sure that Zeke will rebound, but we shall see, CZ ruffian.

These dudes aren't gonna change up their lifestyle. If he keeps screwing up and eventually ends up out of the league then so be it...at least he is playing the most easily-replaceable position in football. We'll just replace him with the NEXT "Zeke" in the draft in a few years. RBs have the shortest career spans already...you just saw Devonta Freeman, one of the best RBs in the league, get a contract that is nothing compared to what NBA/MLB stars make. And that will probably be the biggest and only payday he gets that lasts through his prime years.

Zeke may be great but it's much easier to find the next Zeke than the next franchise QB/defensive anchor.

Haha, and I don't want it to be misunderstood, I don't even think Dak is a bad guy. I think he is a genuinely good guy who had his immature moments as well.

But Dak is being viewed as a "success story", while Zeke is being viewed as a troubled first rounder. It's a media narrative - but if you look into the incidents closely, both Dak and Zeke seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and his "DUI" turned out he wasn't even drinking.

It's easy to paint a picture of someone being troubled or someone being a saint. Heck, they covered up Peyton's mistakes for years while he and Brady were the golden boys of the NFL.
