Open roster spot; Boatright to be moved to active roster

Pellerin was cut on Monday but nobody has been added. Normally, they add somebody immediately after cutting another player. I wonder what the plan is for that open spot.

Who ever is brought up, most likely would be inactive any way.
So no big rush to get it done. Probably will do so after the Eagles game. But it is only Wednesday, still a lot of time.
Could happen today.

I bet they are sort of using that open slot to create a bit of competition among the PS guys. This isn't a need signing so much as a reward for a strong performance.

Or I could be totally wrong and this might indicate that we are exploring offers for other teams' PS guys

as a 6th wr?
I can't think of any WR I'd cut for him at this stage.

As for the open roster spot, I'd assume it would be for defense barring an injury.

Speed at WR right now is pointless unless the guy can play special teams.
We aren't giving up on Street this quickly and TWill is here to stay.
The fast guy probably can't beat out a very quick Beasley.


Don't see WR among the options unless someone is secretly injured and going on IR.

A total curve ball option would be a signed Ray Rice.
Could use a guy like that for 3 games plus the playoffs... and it would make sense to announce it very last minute.
