OPI on Ferguson was a "fix is in" call

Ferguson grabs the jersey, in fact underneath the sleeve, and pulls him away from himself to allow for the swim move. That is 100% on Ferguson and there is zero debate about it. And then he stumbles because of his ankle twisting, which is clear from the Birds Eye view..

The only legitimate argument one can have is that, it’s a call they rarely make, which is just a claim anyway, but that doesn’t change the facts..

Bro. Did the NFL also tell the cowboys defense to get punked all night long as part of the fix?

Yes it was an awful call but come on with the fix stuff. Cowboys were manhandled by a more physical, tougher team.
Ate that point in the game, a TD by Dallas would have changed everything. It was a very bad call. And I can see why some feel it was fixed.

If the nfl was fixed. The cowboys would have won a Super Bowl in the last 30 years.

Detroit declined the penalty so it was the same effect as picking up the flag. Same result, 4th and 3. So what's the issue?
Why was the flag picked up? Was the swim move a penalty to begin with? Games over so no issue we grin we bear it and we move on. That's just what fans do.

By the way, @RonnieT24 , are you going to comment on the video I posted of Ferguson yanking the jersey to start his route? I've posted that three times to three different people without a single response. One of them was to the guy that posts dissertations around here and I even got him to shut up.That's mighty telling. Lol.
You answered your own question with this phrase "TO START HIS ROUTE." As in near the line of scrimmage and BEFORE the ball was thrown.

What's telling is you offer up evidence that refutes your own assessment and want to take some sort of internet bow. My guess is that no one responded because they concluded that that level of detachment from reality is hardly worth engaging.

1. Pickens and Lamb push off and were getting DPI calls.

2. This was an OPI.

3. Dak was sacked in the end zone and it should have been a safety.

4. Cowboys got away one time with a clear off sides on pretty much the whole defense

This angle clearly shows Ferguson grabbed the jersey of the defender to get open. The first commentator clearly points out. The second commentator is the one who is completely wrong.

The ball was not in the air at the time of the swim so OPI should have been off the table to begin with.

RULE 8 FORWARD PASS, BACKWARD PASS, FUMBLE
SECTION 5 PASS INTERFERENCE
ARTICLE 1.

.
.

Offensive pass interference rules apply
from the time the ball is snapped until the ball is touched.

Proof positive you don't know what the Hades you're talking about. If a receiver is allowed to sling a defender down by his jersey so long as it's near the line of scrimmage or before the ball is thrown, they'd all do it "to start their route," lol. You think you can get away with trying to conflate illegal contact rules which apply to defenders within 5 yards of the LOS and before the ball is thrown with OPI, which applies always? You need to get up earlier, bro. You started this whinefest and now can't even defend it properly. You never could. Just admit it was the histrionics we all know it was and call it a thread, lol.

The refs are just bad. Remember during the Green Bay game. I think it was Thanksgiving. False start on a Green Bay player. A second later the coach can be seen calling a timeout. They give him the timeout.

Ferguson is just a over-paid average- to below average tight end. Our best tight end is in Houston.

It was not "clear" it was incredibly close. If the refs were trying to fix the game against Dallas they wouldn't have overturned it. But then you guys would be in here crying that that was fixed too.
The gap was clear. No obstruction of the ball or line when contact was made.

Was a bad night for Fergie Ferg. He had a fumble that hurt bad. Not to mention the hands to the face call that negated the PI against lions that had us set up for 1st and goal at the 2… Was a sure or pretty sure TD. Was a 40+ yard penalty. Then the refs said why not let’s give him another and ice the game or the point spread…

4. Cowboys got away one time with a clear off sides on pretty much the whole defense
There was another offside where you could tell Goff thought it was a free play and heaved it downfield.

Or maybe it was the same one.

There was not enough there to overturn that call...maybe they were trying to keep the feel good story alive for Dallas but Dallas just played so bad they couldn't be helped.

No the Cowboys were right there despite an awful turnover. That play changed the entire game.

It's black and white. Gap between ball and line = no safety.
