I'm sure BP has a big smile on his face. He must be proud of Romo.

I hope he feels that way, although I feel like he abandoned Romo after the fumbled snap. Maybe it just seemed that way, but Romo still needed him at that point.

something definitely turned Big Bill off about cowboys. We probably need to wait few more years to read the book about it.

I think Parcells was just out of gas. He said he just didn't have the energy, and he never coached again after he left the Cowboys. He was a great coach, but his press conferences alone were enough to get him into Canton, IMO.

The death of his brother and his divorce took the wind out of his sails.

Coaching takes it toll. The hours invested year round and the number of years he coached would take a toll on anyone.

Parcells coached 8 years with the Giants while he was in his 40s. He coached 4 years with the Patriots and 3 years with the Jets. It was not surprising that he only lasted 4 years with the Cowboys when he was in his 60s. I think most people thought he would only go 4 years when he arrived in Dallas.

If you saw him talk after Tony led the comeback against the Niners in '11 with broken ribs, you know he remains a Romo fan. And he's always spoken well of the organization, has even defended Jerry. I'm sure he's proud of Tony.

No matter the reasons why he left. One can't help to think he is proud of Tony.
No way he wouldn't be.

BP is a huge Romo fan. Here's what he said about Tony a few years ago:

Sean Payton is pissed. Go get some cheap label scrap because your team is Evan Williams.
