I sure hope the Jets hold the Eagles under 200 yards next week. Oh man, I would love that. I mean freaking PARTY TIME!!!!:lmao::lmao2:

Given the talent the Jets have on D and the particular matchups I think the Eagles are in for another poor showing offensive wise, and Brandon Marshall is going to tear Byron Maxwell a new one.

I'm not sure that many QBs can win with the lack of WR talent they have. Terrance Williams is much better than any receiver threat they have and when Dez comes back he will basically be out of the Dallas offense almost completely. Their WR talent is just as poor as their line. I'm not going to defend Bradford because he's been awful. But I'm not sure any QB can shine in that system with this talent. If they had a line and receivers, Chip Kelly has pretty much proven he can get the offense going some. But Dallas didn't do anything special on defense and are short handed on defense yet they completely dismantled that offense.

I understand what you are saying, but for Chip to sit back and make no adjustments, at least from what it looked like, was insanity. I was honestly a little embarrassed for him, which is not an emotion I'm not accustomed to fostering for an opposing teams Head Coach.

In Chip's case, though, it has been a catalog of errors.

1. Letting Jackson and Macklin go.
2. Trading McShady.
3. Thinking he could get it done on the offensive line with sub par talent.
4. Brought in a North South 1-cut RB and try to get him to run like Sproles.
5. Why hasn't he made any adjustments in his offensive approach to accommodate what he does have in terms of talent? For example, play Sproles more? Bench Bradford in favor of Sanchez who at least won games for him last year?.
6. The arrogance to think he could bring his system into the NFL from college and change the face of the game forever, despite the myriad of attempts in the past that eventually fell flat, like the Wildcat.

The list really goes on and on, but those are the top few that come to mind.

I like his system, he just paid the wrong back for it. He overpaid two injury prone backs big money, then broke up his Oline. He definitely should have kept McCoy, who was the best back of all of them. And he wasnt injury prone.

I do agree in not paying Maclin as I do like the rookie and Jordan Mathews. He is the in the middle of a revamp in Philly. Cant do it all in one year. He needs to more Olineman there and Murray and the system will work perfectly. Murray is just not the type of back to make something out of nothing.

I would take Jordan Mathews over Terrance Williams. They have enough talent at WR. They just dont have the line to block.

What's really funny is... They can only improve at this point.

Yea and after they beat some of the bad teams in the league ( the only ones Chips offense ever seems to handle) the media will proclaim them back to SB contenders. You know that's coming too.

There are certainly aspect of his system that I like, but I am shocked he doesn't know how to take his foot off the gas pedal. Running that no-huddle is great when it works, but it really hurts your team as a whole when it doesn't. And we saw that Sunday. They had an opportunity to get back in that game when Romo left the field, but by that point the team as a whole was exhausted and just simply did not have it in them to take advantage.

They still do have a few nice pieces, but you also need a few veterans both for what they bring to the field and to the locker room. Right now they are looking like a rudderless ship and not having those veterans is a big reason why.

I think Murray is the type of back to make something out of nothing, provided he is being asked to do what he excels at, which is put his shoulder down and run North and South.

The jets have a very good defense and corners, so they should beat the eagles and they will be 0-3, they may be doing good to score at all.

They lost the media after the cowboy game, and they will lose to jets next week, so no more hype on the eagles.

They're still getting some love. Today on ESPN "Which 0-2 team still has a chance to win the division? Most said the Eagles. They are just waiting to revive their Chip Kelly praises.

It doesnt work if you cant get a first down or 2 , lol if your 3 and out, there is nothing to hurry up.
Chip puts too much stock in that, and like in atlanta game , if he had put murray in on the 3rd and 1 they might have got the first down.

But now teams are seeing that just shut down the run , put a lb on murray or the rb in the game , and make bradford beat you.
Also cover the short passes , knowing they dont throw deep.
The philly defense got wore out early in dallas game, they were on the field most of first half.

Chip is making a lot of mistakes with personnel , in game , game planning, and offensive schemes.

This. I mean it is honestly a catalog of errors in Philly right now and if this trend continues he will not survive the season as a Head Coach.

Yes, but you need holes to run north and south.

Giants aren't playing this Sunday and I am going to Jets-Eagles game with some of my Jet friends. I will party before the game but I hope I can party after the game as well. This looks like a trap game for high flying Jets.

What's he done as a receiver in the NFL to make you say that he's better than Williams. He has only 30 less targets and only 7 less career receptions and has 500 less yards than Williams.

This is his second year. Hard to do a lot when your only in it that long. He is a talented receiver. If your going to compare stats, Im going to lose that one. But I guarantee by the end of the season Mathews eclipses Williams in every category. And Mathews certainly doesnt have Dez to take away double teams, and a great Oline. And definitely no Romo throwing to him last year.
