Seems like off season rolls around and everybody wants to get rid of Ellis.

The more things change.........

Yep. In fact I will make a prediction right now. In June when the football magazine hit the racks Dallas will be the trendy pick to win it all.

Yeah football and fashion who would have ever seen the connection. When I chose my user name I wanted to show that I was a committed long term fan and as a tribute to a long gone era of Cowboy football.

Now my name will be in fashion again LOL ! Hopefully it can go back to being a tribute after next season and not linger on as it did back in the 60's. I do believe that if this team can find its player leadership the sky is the limit.

I do wonder who on the roster will step up however. Where oh where is Roger Staubach or Bob Lilly or Michael Irvin when you need them.

Got this off of the PMB:

From Ask PFW on Patriots.com:

Isn't he under contract for a few years? He's not unrestricted.

1. Ellis doesn't want to be number 2.
2. Team loyalty not a priority?
3. Grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
4. Nervous about getting too old to get to the superbowl.

So... the Moss-Ellis transplantation is then finally complete.

Ellis to New England
Moss to Dallas

I hate being the "trendy pick".

Last I knew, Dallas was 13-3 and considered a contender to make the Super Bowl and will be again next year.

this might help you...

playing for belichek. 3 super bowl wins and possibly a fourth.

playing for wade. 0-4.

does that help at all?

He doesn't want to play behind Spencer, but he'll be happy behind Vrabel, Thomas, and Colvin? Who makes this stuff up - it's ludicrous. And the kicker is saying he'll do it for less $$$. Nice.

Owens and Moss would be the nastiest WR combo in history. Attitude and sheer playmaking ability. Romo doesn't have the best deep ball though. He would need to work on his deep passing quite a bit. If he isn't on the run, he tends to under throw the deep balls.

All true but that doesn't fit the writers agenda. :D

Moss and Owens together... PLEASE AND THANK YOU  Tony might not throw the best deep ball in the league but boy I think he can manage having Moss and T.O
