:starspin I have been an avid Dallas Cowboys fan since I was a little kid, and I remember my 2 uncles, one was a Steelers fan and the other was a Cowboys fan.It was the Superbowl and Dallas was losing to Pittsburg, but Danny White kept bringing them closer and closer. Dallas lost the game and as a little boy who had no real understanding of the game I cried. My uncle the cowboys fan told me something that has stayed with me all of my life. Life is one big game and and there are many phases we must go through. Some we win at and some we lose at. But the secret is you never quit or give up you keep trying and than you try some more. Well my take is that we need a real change to bring back the power and swagger of the Dallas Cowboys. For years teams feared our offense and cooridinators lost sleep at the mention of formulating gameplans against our defense. Now it seems like everybody has all phases of our game figured out. Work with me on this one. Wade Phillips is not the guy to bring us back to our glory days. I love Jerry Jones as our owner because he truly wants to put a Superbowl winning team on the field for his Dallas Cowboys fans. The thing is you just can't buy it Little Danny Snyder tried it for years to no avail. It is time to have Mr Jerry Jones and Mr Jimmy Johnson sit down together, and as Men hash out there differences and if that means J. Jones swallowing his pride and admitting he made a mistake to J Johnson so be it. Cost to bring J. Johnson back as the Head coach : Doesn't matter. Part of the package Jason Garrett stays in present capacity with knowledge that he is the heir apparent to the Dallas Cowboys coaching job. Get rid of Brian Stewart bring in Dom Capers as Defense Cooridinator. This team Has no vocal leader on the defensive side to get in somebodys face and get them fired up. Tony Romo has to step to the plate and take charge of the O side when he comes back. Jimmy Johnson is the only answer that can bring discipline and execution to this team. For next year Go out and sign Ray Lewis from the Ravens. We need to bring a nasty ness to our defence Bring the wood and hit somebody and make the tackle. Only Jimmy Johnson Back in Dallas can stop the tears of grown Cowboys fans all across America

Danny White took us to a Super Bowl?

This is gold.

You betcha, and.............to MY surprise:

"It was the Superbowl and Dallas was losing to Pittsburg, but Danny White kept bringing them closer and closer."

Was this the game where Jackie Smith caught the game winning TD? From Danny White? :beer1:

Oh but I did.

This thread is in no way redundant. The thread starter has an exceptional talent for thinking outside the box and coming up with fresh and original ideas
