Why do people keep saying that he won't come here if Garrett is with the team? Is there some kind of beef between them?

Cleveland HC is being fired. Move Callahan to strictly OL coach and bring in Norv as OC? It'd be nice.

Last year it seemed like Norv did not want to undermine Garrett so not sure if he'd be interested. If I have to be stuck with Garrett , I think having Norv is the best case scenario.

If Norv comes to Dallas what role does that leave for Garrett?
same one he's always had

With the way the OL is shaping up and the offensive weapons we have on this team, I'd love to see Norv back in Big D.

Source recently told me Jerry/Garrett considered ONE outside guy last offseason for OC/playcaller. Norv Turner was that 1 guy. @1053thefan

Maybe there is more to this than people think. If Garrett is going to stick around (which everybody knows I disagree with, but I understand the reality of the situation that Jerry is not going to get rid of him), then maybe bringing in a guy like Norv to totally revamp this offense is the right direction to go in.

I would really like Norv to run this offense next year, he is an excellent offensive coordinator and play caller.
I could see him bringing a balanced attack to our offense. I think we'd see the OU version of DM29 if Norv returned. He has, what 1,073 yards on 5+ ypg when mostly it's been the Air Romo show? Imagine if he had 20-25 carries/game like he should have. Romo wouldn't have taken as many hits as he has if he were handing the ball off more.

If I was Norv, I'd know there's a very real chance of me being the HC the following season with the Cowboys. I would think that's much more appealing that the Browns.

There was the deal when he was neck and neck with Phillips for the head coaching job and Garrett was already hired as offensive coordinator. Supposedly he wanted to have the ability to call plays.

These are truly troubling times in the kingdom.

I think Turner could get over it if he wants a job badly enough. I am pretty sure Jerry Jones would love to hire him back. The more people who are used to his "special" management style, the better.

Bringing Norv in as play caller would be a great hire so it won't happen.

The team puts on a great show so status quo is preferable.
