Thanks this is what I've been thinking for the last couple of weeks but not 100% sure with all the smokescreens.

On another note...I'm really wanting Jalen Ramsey to get picked 3rd and us get Elliott.

Yep. based on the press conference yesterday and the draft show today, I think it's locked in stone. 1. Ramsey 2. Zeke.

Time to look at round 2. I'm going with Kenny Clark unless Dodd drops which I don't think happens.

Yes I have been thinking the Ramsey #1 and Zeke #2 thoughts for 2 weeks now and on the Draft show
Bryan Broddus stated the same thing when asked !!! For those wanting Bosa doesn't sound promising !!!

I really don't want Ramsey. Everyone and there mom knows that he is a Safety but the Cowboys will play him at CB and not allow him to play to his true potential. He will be a decent CB not worth the 4th pick, maybe after one year will be a 2-3 interception a year guy. Just my thoughts and i don't think you can really argue with it. Dudes athletic and thats about it. Byron Jones is more athletic than he was and a better cover CB in college and go drafted 27. IDK why the hype with this guy.

BrAin do you think if Ramsey is the pick that in Round 2 (#34) they go Derrick Henry ?

They are so open and have so many needs it is hard to tell where they would go.

I could see a good DT or WR sitting there and they go with them.
I think they can get a good DE later but maybe Dodd is sitting there or maybe even a Spence falls there (doubt it).
I would not even rule out them reaching for A QB they like but are afraid of losing out if they wait till the 3rd or 4 so they get one in the second.

Henry seems to be a RB that would fit our system and he might be one they target...but keep in mind that Dixon and Booker might be good options as well. Maybe even a CJ Prosise although that might be high for him.

Personally I think DT, WR or RB will be the best option at that spot because I imagine there will be some very good value players at that position.

Something else to consider here...Just because they take Ramsey (if they do) at 4...I don't think it automatically rules them out from taking a DB in the second...I know some might explode if it happens but if they see Ramsey as a CB and Karl Joseph or Von Bell is sitting there at S...maybe they are tempted to take one. If maybe a good CB falls that they did not think would be sitting there...they could take one, remember OScan is coming off of injury and both Carr and Mo are on one year deals.

So...they could take any position and probably wind up getting a good pick in the second.

I think this will also apply to our pick in the 3rd round as well. We could (and should) come out of this draft with three legit starters/significant contributors. If we don't then we did something very wrong.

I judge that 4th pick by how the player makes his unit ELITE, not just better. Elite is the standard for a pick that high. Does Ramsey make the Cowboys secondary elite? Does Bosa make the Cowboys DL elite? Does Jack make the Cowboys LB corps elite? Does Tunsil make the Cowboys OL even MORE elite, as in best ever?

Clark or Joseph at 34 would be awesome, if Spence is there I'd probably take him over both though.
