This.

Chicago needs to clear off their injured starters salary first.

Then draft a QB with a top 3 pick.

Then they must decide if they are going to finish cleaning house of the vets remaining and go for a youth movement entirely.

The other thing is..if they draft a QB.

they need a new OC to make it work.

That's a lot of change.
A lot of change, bloke!
But, who cares about them?
Email me about the steaks. I will go into it, good lad.:)

This. The Bears are rebuilding and aren't going anywhere this year anyway. I don't see them trading future draft resources away for a lost season.

Probably true, but I would love to see a team offer us something for Sanchez.

Get Jerry into snakeoil salesman mode and see if we can offload the '2014' Romo to free up cap space this season. Romos remaining salary for 2016 would extend a couple of starters meaning we can take the bonus hit in 2017. Throw in McFadden and Gregory to sweeten the deal.

With Hoyer gone, and with our bye week, have to think Jerry might get a call from Chicago GM tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Even if they don't anticipate Romo being available for PHI, sounds like CLE is in the plan, and surely we can make do with Showers as the back-up for one game in exchange for a Bears draft pick.... no?

They have to tank now. It's the smart move.

We haven't traded a player in about a decade.

We will not start now.

No way Chicago is trading for a QB like Sanchez. Their season is done, might as well bring in a Mike Vick or Josh Freeman. Either one of them can do what Sanchez would do....get them a top 5 pick in next years draft.

If they are willing to accept Romo's contract, I would take their 2018 7th round pick and thank my lucky stars.
