Orakpo wouldn't mind playing for the Boys

If that report rings true, Orakpo will need to find a new home. The pass rusher wouldn't rule out Commanders rival, the Dallas Cowboys.

"I wouldn't mind it, I wouldn't mind it," he said of switching allegiances. "I mean, I know it's been a big rivalry for years, but I'm a Texas boy man, so I wouldn't mind it."

Not sure how he would handle playing DE, He is not a OLB in a 4-3 defense. Then again he would not be the 1st guy to go from a 3-4 OLB to a DE in a 4-3. As a Longhorns fan I was a fan of his at UT and depending on the price tag would love to have him in Dallas

Yeah, I think if they hold true to there heavy rotation of dline personnel he might be a great fit especially for the price. He is definitely a RKG.

If you go onto Extremeskins, a large majority of their fans want him gone. They are tired of his unfulfilled potential and are ready to move on. Many fans would laugh if the Cowboys signed him.

As for myself, I wouldn't mind if he signed an incentive laden contract, based on playing time. If he could stay healthy, he would be our best edge rusher. He is a 10-12 sack guy if he would play 16 games.

He had 10 sacks, 2 seasons ago in 15 games played.

2 pectoral tears in 3 years. That's typically a steroid injury so no thank you unless cheap money.

I'd be fine taking a flyer on him if his market value isn't inflated. We need help at DE and he could be a nice rotational player if we can land someone like Trent Cole or Brandon Graham as well.

Orakpo can be effective in certain roles for sure-- and with Marinelli-- we could get some value out of him for sure.
