Orlando Pace Not Expected To Play Against Dallas...

Rams LT Orlando Pace (quadriceps) is not expected to be available in Week 7 against the Cowboys.

This loss cannot be understated. Adam Goldberg has looked lost whenever he's been asked to man Marc Bulger's blind side, and was one of the central reasons why the Rams' offense was so miserable last year. Goldberg is unlikely to have any answers for DeMarcus Ware's athleticism off the edge.

I don't think it matters who lines up against Ware.

there have been reports Flo handles him pretty well

Hopefully D Ware can keep his sack streak alive . . . . and then some!

Ware won't get a sack every single week this year, so he needs a few 2-3 sack games this year in order to get the total to 16+.

That's Defensive Player Of The Year territory.

Looks like Sunday will be as good an opportunity as any for a multi-sack game.

Truly.

St Louis has one good receiver in Holt - and that's it.

And McMichael is gone for the year.

If they keep someone in to block Ware all day you can forget about the Rams passing game.

Either way, advantage Cowboys.

Teams have tried to neutralize Ware, Ellis and Ratliff by going to quick passes with short routes getting the ball out before anyone can get there.

What Ware and all do is to make them game plan and limit their passing game. If they can't get pressure at all the Rams will open it up and take longer to pass and use longer routes. that will increase their ability to run the ball as well. I don't see that happening though.

I feel the need to remind everyone that Bulger's back up is Trent Green.

I also feel the need to inform everyone Brock Berlin is the 3rd string QB.
