OT- XBox360

I know this doesn't belong but if we could keep it here for an hour or so i would appreciate it. I am thinking of goiing right now to get an xbox360 is it worth it?

Yes sir. I run a site 360Leagues.com - Just for 360 online sports leagues and such. If you pick it up go get Ghost Recon its a great game.

Dont not pick up madden, it is horrible on the 360

IMO, you should wait a couple of months. Like all consoles when they first come out, the 360 is seeing some "bugs" and other problems right now. Somethign about some piece of foil that should of been removed on some of them that weren't removed and it's causing some over heating issues. Plus some other stuff. I always wait until they get all that stuff ironed out before I buy one.


I won't be buying one till September when Splinter Cell: Double Agent comes out. Maybe sooner if a game comes out that I really want to play. But as of right now, not till september.

I'd vote no.
My nephew has one and he has a few issues but the bigger thing is no HD DVD drive as of yet and limited games. Games are 60 bucks and the console costs a small fortune.

Thats cool if you keep it for 5 years but I;ve only done that with my playstation 2.

The better value IMHO is to build a home theater pc and use it as a gaming console as well as free Tivo and HD Tuner.
That would cost you about 1 grand which is just over the cost of an xbox360 with a few games and all the necessary addons.

Yeah a friend of mine after I posted this said basically the same, that i should wait until later this year

The newer ones are fine. Ive had mine since launch and its perfect. Even if it does mess up call 1-800-4MYXBOX and they will send you a box you send them your 360 and theyll send you a brand new one that works fine.
