Sanchez reportedly drew criticism from OC Brian Schottenheimer for missing targets and failing to handle blitzes. "He had an excellent second day, let's start with the good," said coach Rex Ryan. "The bad was the first day and the ugly was part of today. We're kind of throwing him to the wolves."

I was praying on draft day the skins wouldn't land him. If the skins packaged what the jets offered to move up from 13 to 5 in the draft and nabbed sanchez I would have been furious. Needless to say, the Jets got a steal in that trade. Just as far as shear value goes, moving up from 17 (i believe it was 17) to 5 for a 2nd and 2 serviceable players and a backup qb was highway robbery in my opinion. If nothing else, here is to Sanchez turning into an all pro qb just so we can laugh at the skins for not getting him.

Marc will be fine. Rookie mistakes will be magnified because he plays in the Big Apple, but he will be a solid NFL QB. The kid is a competitor and a leader.

Marc is much more Carson Palmer than Matt Leinart, he will be just fine.
