Again, not neccesarily Cowboys related but I had some fun reeming on Brett and there was talk about how much of an idiot he was for throwing that fatal int instead of just running for the yards. We all laughed at the radio call (I know I sure did), but here is an article that shows pics of Favre's Hamstring and Ankle following the game. I don't even know how he was in there at all.

Ouch!

He's a tough sob for sure. You don't play that many in a row and not be.

However, how do we know that is him?

Believe it or not, that is fairly common. Favre is a tough son of gun, no doubt.

During the Saints broadcast, they said the hit Spencer put on him on the 1st TD during out game made one side of his whole body purple all week. He and his wife were pretty concerned about that.

It was purple because he forgot to take his uniform off all week.

Meh. He rolled out fine on that play before throwing the INT, I don't think a couple bruises made him throw it; it's Favre's MO. It's not like players don't continue playing with much worse.

Lets me see if I follow this somewhat chronologically.

Game: Dallas plays Packers
Dallas beats the snot outta Favre, he is throwing the ball into 3 defenders and you have a couple of INT's before the half
Hero: Brett Favre, wahh... my shoulder

Game: Packers vs Giants NFC title game
Giants beat Favre at home. INT's lose the game?
Hero: Wahh.. I cant retire on an INT let me come back again in 2 years

Games: Favre and Jets
Favre throughs many INT's down the stretch of the season costing the Jets a playoff birth.
Hero: Wah.... my bicep.....

Game: Favre vs the Saints
Favre throws INT to end his career AGAIN on an INT.
Hero: Wow, look at me I played all bruised up..... wah...

But alteast I am keeping my consecutive games streak alive.

Did I miss anything?

I'm not sure I buy those pictures. The ankle looks like a grade 2 or 3...one that would likely have you limping noticeably, let alone having any sort of "game" mobility. The thigh looks remarkably similar to the pulled hamstrings I grew so fond of in college. That's not from a hit. Maybe it is him, but I wonder why he would be having photos snapped of what has to be pretty common injuries after 250 yrs in the pros. No question he's tough, just wonder why he's popping pics in his kitchen. That's liable to be some weekend warrior who had a spill after playing rec flag ball.:laugh2:

I had a very similar looking leg after a collision in the outfield playing softball (both running full speed for the fly ball.) The thing is, I kept playing for a while. It wasn't until after that I realized how bad it looked and how much it hurt. Of course, there was some beer involved so things may have been a bit different...

He would have to stand in line behind Rich Eisen.
