Both play in ridiculously easy divisions and both may very well go 6-0 in said divisions. The Bears should win 13 games on sheer lack of schedule difficulty, and Seattle should win at least 12. It will be damn near impossible to secure homefield over either team.

Good point. I just hope our record is good enough to have to worry about such a thing as home field advantage.

What a joke you are. Considering your pathetic behavior in the thread I just started, you have to be trolling to come and make this post.

There's a difference between calling New York awful and calling the likes of Green Bay, Detroit, and San Francisco awful.

But, I wouldnt expect you to realize this, so I can't really be surprised at this reaction. You sure can hold a grudge, though.

Looking at our schedule, it is difficult to project 11 wins, let alone 13. Granted, Carolina and Tampa Bay and Washington and New York dont look great right now, but all are very dangerous and wont be easy W's.

Keep an eye on Seattle's offensive line. They lost Hutchinson in free agency and now have lost their two starting guards to injury. I am not sure how serious those injuries were to those to guys, but sometimes the NFL is how about who is the most healthy at the end of the season.

The problem is, Seattle is so far ahead of everyone else in that division that, even should they sustain injuries, I still wonder if anyone could step up and give them a run for their money.

Our biggest problem is ourself. Barring injuries, and if we're hitting on all cylinders on both offense and defense, I don't think there's a team that can stop us.

I feel like we match up well against Seattle.

I think Minnesota is the team we match up worse against. Chicago won't be a pretty game either if our offensive line and Bledsoe don't hold.

The Giants were a poor matchup last year because of our mediocre offensive tackles, we'll handle them better this year.

Let's just make it to the playoffs first. Then win the division. And then possibly a bye.

Remember the Steelers were 7-5 last year. Made it barely into playoffs as 6th seed.

Keep in mind, its early and its a long season. We should get better because we are young and we should get better the longer we have TO.
But right now....Chicago and Seattle are flat out better teams than we are. Throw in Atlanta also.
If we get TO healthy and figure out how to get him the ball more times per game, cut down the penalties, and have Vanderjerk kicking like he has in the past....then we can compete with those teams, hopefully at their place, which is where we'll end up playing any of them if we make the playoffs.

Meh
we should have beat Seattle at their place last year. Chicago's offense doesn't scare me at all. We can do more than "compete" with them . We can beat them.

I don't really see how Atlanta is "better" than we are. Vick is still a 50% passer, their kicking game is a mess, and their offensive line has one good game, then one bad game.

Right now I'm very confused about the NFC. Granted the bears and Hawks are 3-0...but who have they beaten? Philly has looked good against slack teams, but in the only moderately tough game they have had they chocked big time. The thing that bugs me is that either Chi or Sea is gonna get a bye and probably home field because of their soft divisions. I like us better than both of those teams right now, but playin in their place in the playoffs scares me.

The NFC East hasn't shown anything to be bragging about.

It's all about health and how well you are playing in January. That is a loooooooong way off.

The Hawks are still for real, the Bears are overrated and Philly is still a ? to me.
