That's true but that doesn't mean you allow them to drive on you just because the game is out of reach have some pride at least.

Defense was going to force them to use a lot of time and that is what Dallas did. That score means nothing it was garbage points and yes other defense allow garbage points to take place and no one questions their pride.

I make no excuse for the play of the defense especially in the 1st half of the game. I think it showed better play in the 2nd half but still not great.

Has this defense gave you a reason not to question their pride?

IF someone from the cowboys org told you that grass was blue and the sky was green you'd believe it. Yes all of that **** makes them a crappy team. Our HC has more coaching exp then the age of their HC yet this goru defensive coordinator fails to stop such a terrible offense. Caddilliac looked like he was a rookie again b4 2 knee surgeries.

Not at all but, if you want to be miserable after a loss be my guest. I thought ignorance suppose to be blissful, I guess not.

You can discount a win all you want but in the end, we won and ultimately none of your pubescent bellyaching matters.

The D needs to play better and in my opinion, they will. I wonder what you will gnash your teeth about after we thump the Giants.

You cannot rely on Romo connecting on bombs constantly.

Those were not bombs, more like run after catch big plays.

They also fired their OC in the pre season. Fired their HC from last year got rid of their starting QB from last year.

We fired our DC from last year, fired our SC from last year, had a building fall on our current SC 3 months before the season started breaking his neck, fired our number one, hall of fame numbers having, WR from last year, fired our 2nd best pass rusher, traded our starting corner from last year for a backup.

Any more excuses you want to make on why we won?

Their execution at time yes pride no. Easy for a fan sitting on a couch watching the game to question pride. Dallas played it smart not giving up any big plays on Tampa last TD drive, they ate up clock instead of being able to strike quick putting themself in a postion for a come from behind win. When you have a 3 score lead late in the 4th there is nothing wrong with playing a bit soft and keeping everything in front of you.

Not only that we had no proven WR and the WR who made Tony Romo was not on the team according to some of our experts around here our WR could not do the job.

We do need to get better at stopping the run. Tampa was extremely effective doing so when they wanted too. We knew they were running and their o-line was able to dictate.

Later in the game when we knew they had to throw to get back into the game, they were able to as well. I would have liked to see more of a "closers" mentality on defense regardless of garbage time andsome back ups being subbed in. The offense had that "closer" mentality in the 3rd and 4th.

The Giants will run at us and cause alot of pressure for Romo so we're going to need to shore up that run defense and have a dictating o-line. Can't lose in our new home's first regular season game. We need to become a great home team. It's always nice to put 34 points up and win on the road. Lets not forget that.

I agree with this post. For me its not about the points or the yards its about the intensity. When you look at the Steelers, Eagles, Ravens, Giants, and even Washington, they come at you with a violent intensity. They don't just want to get you down on the ground, they want to inflict damage as they are doing it.

If you go back and look at all of Ware's sacks last year, you see him pulling the QB down by the shirt in almost all of them. Compare that to Harrison and you can see two players with completely different intentions. Ware and the Cowboys are trying to get off the field on third down, these other teams are trying to hurt and intimidate on the way to getting off the field.

Yes, This is exactly what I am talking about. I want to see some attitude when we hit someone not just after the QB releases the ball and is in a defenseless position. Also we rarely knock a good running back backwards or hit them so hard they fumble the ball.

How do we perform like that and you expect us to beat the giants. It must be nice living in optimism land. How do I get there? You forgot our nickel LB special teams captain. Starting SS and any other nonsense you want to through out there out and our starting De.

Our DC lost hist job mid way thru the season. I hope you that you're not being serious about the SC.

Well when they make excuse about how they didn't have any film give up close to 6 YPC. I don't get it. But whatever let's see how many wins we can steal with the D playing like this.

Bottom line the D is crap been crap since last year.

Yes the defense has to play better I don't argue that however and I know they can play better than they did yesterday. If you believe this is as good as the defense gets fine I know they can and have played much better than that.

The way I saw it...Offense did good, spread the ball all over the place and created missmatches.

The Defense on the other hand did just enough to win. But the pressure was not there with the dline. Even ware got taken out of the game. They need to step up for the Giants and Wade needs to unleash the dogs.

Did you see the game?

The D needs to play better without a doubt but if wasn't for a lack of pressure.

I agree 100% with this post. our defense doesn't scare anybody cause we don't get physical and don't cause turnovers. I also think that's the only thing Ware is missing is that mean streak. maybe they are starting to get a mean streak as I saw Spears and Bowen absolutely plant Leftwich yesterday.

Yah I saw the Buc's run 180 yards of rushing offense against us....that's unacceptable if were planning on making a deep run into the playoffs.
