Our defense has to be in their head...

They dropped a lot of balls as the game went on. We layed some pretty good hits on their receivers out there too. Sensabaugh had a couple nice hits. As the game went on they seemed to lose concentration out there. Anyone see the maclin play where mcnabb threw it deep and he didn't even look for the ball. He was too busy staring at hamlin coming to pop him.

I couldn't believe it when i saw it. Reminded me of the play a few years ago (pinkston i think) where he ducked when he saw roy coming in for the hit.

They missed a couple opportunities yesterday, but that happens in almost every game. Our defense clamped down and got better as the game went on. The pressure picked up as the game wore on as well. Hopefully they carry it into next week. If they play defense like this, nobody will be able to beat us.

They looked totally bamboozled, like "Everything we try, they have an answer for."

I especially liked how we sniffed out their screen plays. Several times our guys recognized it right away, stopped their rush, and got right out to the would-be receiver before he even had a chance.

we better be ready for a few wrinkles next week that throw vick in there. We played well against it the first game, but who knows what we will see next week.

I think our team, our stadium, our defense, Jason Witten, Felix Jones, and Miles Austin, are in their heads. Ofcourse they will never admit it! All they can do is talk trash to keep their minds off of it! Dallas just needs to punch them in the mouth early again next week! :starspin

Well I can confirm it's in the head of philly fans. My eagle fan brother was HIGHLY concerned about our defense before the game. After? He is scared ****less.

He's not willing to say they will lose but he openly states our defense is a big problem for them and not one he is sure the eagles can overcome.

I think McNabb was very average yesterday, as was the whole Eagles team, his receivers didn't help him out much by dropping numerous passes, the defense didn't blitz as much in the first half. I doubt next Saturday, you'll see the same sloppy flat Eagles team and it won't be an easy game for the cowboys Saturday. I hope the cowboys don't rest on their past game performance, because I wouldn't be surprised at all if the score was reversed next week

Personally I think that it's just the play of the Cowboys defense. I've thought they have held the team back for a couple of years. Now with them playing so well the Cowboys are a dominant team. One game wouldn't prove that but it's been a streak of very good defensive games.

That and all season there have been signs of improvement on the defensive side of the ball.

I know we as fans like to always talk offense and blame them for everything but to me their offense has been fine for years.

Now they have a very good overall unit and the Eagles simply could NOT matchup.
