Our defense will need to carry us down the stretch...

We have some really good offensive teams coming up on the schedule. If we are to win the division, our defense will have to be the reason....

We are now 4th in the league in scoring defense. As long as the steelers get 10 points tonight, we are 3rd. And we have only given up 18 more points than the patriots, who play the saints monday night, so we will pass them as well. So after tomorrow's game, we will be second in the league in scoring defense behind...... the bengals, who have allowed 8 fewer points than us.

We're seventh in scoring defense. We're fourth in total points allowed.

The Steelers are No. 1 in scoring defense (before tonight), but their special teams and offense have allowed four touchdown returns apiece, so they're only eighth in total points allowed (per game, pending tonight's total).

Here are the top 10 scoring defenses (does not include points scored by opponents' special teams or opponents' defenses) --

1. Pittsburgh Steelers, 12.8 ppg
2. New York Jets, 13.27 ppg
3. New England Patriots, 14.3 ppg
4. Cincinnati Bengals, 14.55 ppg
5. Denver Broncos, 15.27 ppg
5. Minnesota Vikings, 15.27 ppg
7. Dallas Cowboys, 15.91 ppg
8. Washington Commanders, 16.36 ppg
9. Baltimore Ravens, 16.4 ppg
10. Indianapolis Colts, 16.73 ppg

Is there a way to determine how many of those points were not directly related to an offensive turnover inside our own redzone?
