I think our starters have been pretty damn good, definitely better than the other three teams.
That I can agree with. I like our team a lot and am very excited for this season. I think Romo can have a MVP-type season this year and we have a great shot at getting to Super Bowl XLIV

Seriously dude, I mean you have some kind of issues that have you have with that frustration? I am not impressed with Secondary, and we shall see if I am wrong. Right now, you can't prove me wrong and I can't prove you wrong either. So if you want to keep jumping up and down, then go ahead. Seems like you love doing that. If not, I am not convinced till I see it in the regular season.

And I would love to be wrong. I just don't see a great secondary, from the reports I read about camp etc. Probably just wrong, but we shall see. I see an average to above average secondary and which might not be a bad thing at all. I wont be convinced other wise till end of season and we see good stuff from Secondary. Till then, if you want to keep bangning your head or putting gazillion exclamation points, then be my guest. And you can tell me I told you so, at the end of season, I am proven wrong. I never have a problem admitting when I am proven wrong.

I'm not jumpin up and down, just responding to your posts as you are to mine. Is that ok?

Would you rather be a Giants fan tonight? Their supposedly infallible defense was just shredded by Mark Sanchez.
the Giants didn't have 1 of there starting linebackers playing tonight and atleast 1 of there starting corners.

Yeah, but I haven't been putting gazillion exclamation points or putting frequent banging head icons to make my point. And originally all I said was, the poster who made the thread might not be totally off base or wrong. He did exagerated it a whole lot, but I thought he had a point and not totally wrong. Anyway, You think our D and Secondary will be good or will be good enough, I don't. Like I said you can tell me at the end of season, how wrong I was, if you are proved right. Till then I don't see this secondary being the strength of the team. I don't have doubts about our Front 7, so far anyway, as long as injuries don't strike obviously.

Given that the strength of the Giants defense is their defensive line rotation and their linebacker group as a whole is fairly average, your point seems a little forced.

no and it's not crap either. they have a solid o-line and running game. Sanchez also is looking good right now for a rookie qb. but than again you're only impressed by the cowboys every year so.....

trust me man. I live in Ny and see every giants game. Pierce is an average linebacker but he gets everybody lined up correctly and does his homework. imagine our defense missing all our starting d-linemen?

So, in your opinion, the Giants defense without Antonio Pierce is identical to the Cowboys defense without its entire starting defensive line?

Interesting...

you said the giants strength on defense is there d-line correct? i said they didn't have 1 starting linebacker playing. so since the linebackers are our strength i said imagine if our d-line was backups like the giants linebackers were. understand?

If the Giants receivers could actually catch, they'd have blown the Jets out of the water tonight.

No.

If Jason Hatcher were playing in place of one of Dallas' starting linemen, I would not expect a substantial drop off.

Granted, losing Ratliff would produce noticeable affects, but it wouldn't provide an excuse for being shredded by Mark Sanchez.

Well, the Giants will be saddled with same group of receivers all season.

you're still not getting it cause you're being stubborn and you don't know what you're talking about. 13 completions for a 149 yards and 1 td vs a defense missing 4 starters is shredding? :lmao2: riiiiiiiiiight

You asserted that the Giants defense without Antonio Peirce was identical to the Cowboys defense without its entire starting defensive line.

If one of us doesn't "know what we're talking about," it clearly isn't me.

And surrendering 17 points in a half most certainly qualifies as being shredded.

see, you didn't listen due to your stubborness. Pierce was just 1 example of what they were missing.

front sevens are the d-line and linebackers

you said the giants strength was there d-line. they were missing there entire starting lb core.

our strength is our linebackers. i said now imagine our entire starting d-line missing.

if you still don't understand than you're just not very smart.
