Carpenter starting to contribute, eventual starter

Fasano...NICE CLUTCH Over the Shoulder Catch for 22 yds!! Kept the ball out of Mannings hands.

Hatcher will only get better and stronger...nice addition.

Watkins, getting his experience now for the future

Hurd and Austin have contributed and will only get better.

Overall a nice 05 Draft!

Man things can change with a win...overly optimistic there dude.
Hatcher I will give you.
The rest still suspect.
1. Carp made some bad plays today and didn't really impress me.
2. Fasano has been ok...but he is a 2nd. jury still out.
3. Hurd looks pretty good.
4. Austin doesn't have any moves...well blocked kick returns today I thought. I do think he may turn into a decent WR but don't think he has the moves as a KR.

besides the fact Hurd and Austin weren't drafted, yeah it's looking up.

I thought this draft was pretty weak, but it's nice to be proven wrong sometimes I guess.

Witten(3rd)
James(4th)

Yep...but keep going until you are sure the wistle has blown. I wasn't sure he'd been touched either.

i think if you look at the last 2 drafts,, you have to be impressed with Parcells. Coming into this year, he drafted some quality guys that would be able to contribute,,
Carp, looks quick and will be pretty good
Fasano.. doing what he is supposed to be doing.. has he dropped a pass this year?
Hatcher.. is very green.. needs another TC ,, next year, I think he will be a force
Green.. I really liked this pick,, looks like ti might be the worse of the bunch
Watkins.. our future FS, full time.

All in all.. i am very pleased with BP last 2 drafts,, and with romo now.. our future looks very bright with alot of young talented guys.

Carp looked really bad to me today.

Hatcher, Watkins, Hurd, Austin and Fasano look like they have potential.

McQuistan is a wild card here.

Green is a certifiable bust.

I've seen the game twice now.....What bad plays did Carpenter make?

Carpenter held his own. He's finally getting his opportunity now.
Fasano had some very nice blocks in the run game. And a super clutch catch in the fourth quarter. Stupid play at the end.....You can be sure he'll never do that again.
Hatcher was stout today. Provided real nice pressure.
Watkins didn't get burned.

Hurd didn't do anything today....But we had Glenn.
Austin isn't a KR. He hasn't returned kicks full-time...ever...His future is as a WR. I have high hopes for him.

Agree on the 3-4 yr judgement period but some people here would have you believe that Carpenter and Fasano are busts. Just figured I would point out that we are starting to see some sort of contribution here.

Actually I like Fasano, he seems to catch everything thrown his way and he's pretty tough. I think his role will only grow from here.

He was getting manhandled by the Colts tight ends. I think you need to watch the tape again. They eventually took him out for a while in the second half.

Fasano is a stud. We'll see nothing but improvement from that one.

Pretty sure Carpenter is going to pan out just fine. I like seeing him back on the outside now. He was FAR too tenative on the inside (probably due to familiarity, but whatever). He only got beat outside for one run of any consequence today, and he was the one who turned around and caught rhodes from behind after about a 11 yard gain. His first few steps are terrific. He was getting good penatration in the backfield. He'll get some sacks once he gets reps...mark my words. He played well in coverage as well, nothing noteworthy there though.

Hatcher's flashes are becoming more frequent. He's a keeper.

Watkins...another day without being exposed. Did a pretty solid job today. Needs to do a little more to keep me from wanting to draft another FS in the middle rounds next year.

Ya, but let's not forget the reason Carp is "contributing" is soley due to Greg Ellis being hurt.

I didn't see Carpenter do anything in particular to make a believer outta me.

I noticed it was Hatcher who was getting pressure on that 4th and 2 play late in the game.

In fact the OT grabbed his facemask but the ref did not call it.
